John Mellencamp 4cd Box "on the Rural Route" due June 15th This is the way box sets should be done, they are for fans, not for someone that has nothing on an artist, so dont expect the hits of Mellencamp, those can be found on "the hits of John mellencamp"
The 4cd 54track box set, though not packed as a box, runs as if its 4 brand new albums, right down to the sequencing, very reminiscent of the 4cd Bon Jovi box set which was all almost new tracks. On the mellencamp box 17 of the 54 are new to being released, the others range from a "hit" here and there to mostly his best songs, almost all of which were minor hits and not singles at all.
I'll post the tracks in a bit....but this 4cd box is perfect, and packed as a brand new hard cover book not box, 72pages, new interviews etc..
