I actually agree with you here. And can see people have started responding with lists rather than insults. I understand my taste is not going to be everyones taste as well.

The first response you bitched about though, from Elmer. They said:
You going on singles? -cos Black has to be better than Jeremy. Those PJ songs I loved once upon a time.

I personally can't stomach Celine Dion, kinda stands out in the list for its incongruity, but if it does it for you cool.

Boyz II Men are bit sappy for me but those songs are decent.

What about that is crucifixion? THey never attacked you. They asked a question (if you were going by released singles, or songs in general). Then they mentioned a Pearl Jam song (you're not a member of Pearl Jam are you?), then mentioned Celine Dion (you're not Rene in disguise are you?), and basically said, "but if you like her, that's cool. Then they mentioned Boys II Men being sappy (you're not black from the pictures I've seen, nor were you in that group either). So where exactly is the crucifixion and "negativity", as you put it, at? Because I'm not seeing it.

Not that reply, but the one with "Boyz ii Men plus Celine Dion = epic thread fail.

Besides I thought we had got over the arguing, all this stuff about the Mohave desert, what the hell is that.

And as I am 25% Maori I am classified as a person of colour, black and coloured does not just extend to Negroes you know.

So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

This is really hard because I'm actually a big fan of the 90s. Here is my non-Prince list (in no order):

Kiss From a Rose (Seal)

Unbelievable (EMF)

Only Wanna Be With You (Hootie)

Man on the Moon (REM)

Time of Your Life (Greem Day)

Sunny Came Home (Shawn Colvin)

I'd Die Without You (PM Dawn)

Crash Into Me (Dave Matthews Band)

One Week (BNL)

Return of the Mack (Mark Morrisson)

Too many to mention left out...

All good things they say never last...
