Bonus Old School R&B Song Of The Day(1/23/03)...Keith Sweat-How Deep Is Your Love?

Keith Sweat's debut album Make It Last Forever along with Guy's self titled debut album{both released in the late 80's} were important albums in the sense that they ushered in the new jack swing era. Both albums are pretty good too.

This song was very popular when it came out and old school R&B radio stations still play it frequently. Another one of those get-close-to-the-one-you-love slow jams.

Keith's one begging brother, I tell you. I don't think no one will who hasn't heard this one will mistake this one for the Bee Gees's "How Deep Is Your Love?" upon initial hearing of the opening seconds of the track. lol

Enjoy.

Yea, he sounds very similiar to Steve Arrington{lead singer of funk group Slave} on the hit "I Want Her". His first two albums are essential R&B/new jack swing albums.

i wish Keith could sing like Steve Man?Steve would have ripped up all of Keith's stuff with ease.Keith Begged more than Dennis Rodman too the Ref's.I like this Jam still but Keith's first album was so tight it kinda got lost.He just left elektra records after being there for 15 Years. His Last release on them will be a Live Album cut in DC.due soon.

Yeah...Steve Arrington is one of funk's finest singers. The brother got mad vocal skills. Thanks for the info on his live album, didn't know that was going to drop.
