Some actors are willing to voluntarily become emaciated for roles. I wouldn't though. No way. They may return to their normal weight, but their faces never quite look the same after losing that much weight. Kinda sad, especially when the actor doesn't receive any awards for their sacrifice.

I think this is actually a good look for 50.

As stated above it's for a film role. He also had some tattoos removed, so I guess he's pretty serious about it.

Not according to Bobby who said he loves 50 like a son. And like it or not, 50 was in a movie with BOTH Robert and Al Pacino so it shows me he's serious about developing as an actor. And they both had nothing but positive comments about working with him. But, I'm talking about the weight loss since you said it seems over the top. People can lose massive amounts of weight healthily as long as they don't go up and down all the time. Just watch the Biggest Loser. They have people on there losing 30 pounds in ONE week. Of all the obese, unhealthy people on there doing strenuous excercise 8 hours a day not a single one has had a heartattack or stroke. So, it's not that big of a deal, especially if you were already healthy like 50.
