Let me get this straight...you all have heard the album, and you're STILL bitching?! Jesus Christ, what is wrong with everyone here?

Bionic is better than anything Prince has released since the mid 90's. Maybe the early 90's. It's certainly better than the last few albums, that sucked.

I listen to Bionic, and I hear a #1 album in the charts. And even if it's not a number one, it's a masterpiece of pop music. It's probably the best pop album to come out this year, and is definitely one of the best albums PERIOD to come out this year.

If you hate Christina's attitude, fine. But don't slam the music, because that just makes you look ignorant. Who (%($ cares if Christina insulted whoever? It's about MUSIC, not her personality.

And since none of us, including me, actually KNOW Christina in real life, none of us can make a statement on how she is in real life. Same with Britney. How do you know Britney isn't a bitch? Or Gaga? Or whoever the hell you talk about here?

Bottom line is, STFU and stop acting ignorant. And I'll be laughing at all you asses when Christina's new album is topping the charts. lol

mad I WAS a huge Christina fan, but this album blows. The only great song is Elastic Love. The rest is banal faux electro pop. Its too safe, but doesn't even have a hit on it. Basically its halfway between a hit and a cult hit. its not gonna please much of either audience.

Elastic Love is a masterpiece. I guess i'm in the minority when I say I really like this album. My only problem is all the slow jams in the middle which completely stops the flow. I'm also not crazy about the song "glam". I think if there weren't a Lady Gaga people would dig this album more. Too bad really cuz I like it more than Fame Monster.

Birds of Prey is great. She should have done more material like that.

She just needs to leave the ego at the door and work with the right people for her to come back strong.

Wait... this is a Prince site, right? ...(checks URL)... Yep, it is! Wow. That's maybe the craziest thing I've ever heard said on a Prince site. So like, only Prince is allowed to have an ego? lol And work with the right people? Again, the album isn't out yet! Watch it go number one and a couple times platinum. Where will you people be then?

I don't like Prince's ego either.

Have you heard the album? It might go number 1 and it'll definitely sell at least 100k in first week, but I don't see it being a smash. Not Myself Tonight flopped, Woohoo is not going to go anywhere, her other mid and up-tempos are generic or cheap imitations of the artists who wrote the songs for her, and I don't think the public cares for ballads atm. Of course, I can always be proven wrong. I doubt it'll go a couple times platinum though.

Btw, I'm not a hater. If I were I would said that she was completely done for lol.

I agree! I like more that electronica sound, rather than the more cliched R&B hip hop influenced stuff on the record. But I'm guessing the record company had something to do with that feeling the electro thing wasn't commercial enough.

I thought the idea of the record was supposed to be to sound more like Birds of Prey, but somehow t that got lost in the process.

I think Christina gets an unfair rap. It's not the best most artistic album, but it's far from the worst. Some of the venom spewed out at her on blogs is way over the top in my opinion.

It's just her first mainstream backlash, which was bound to happen sooner or later (she's been in the business over 10 years now). Her attitude doesn't help.

I guess I'm not that aware of her attitude or how she is as a person. I like a few of her songs, but I don't follow her that closely by watching or reading every interview. What has she said that was so bad?

She has alot of bitchy quotes about other celebrities. Especially her rivals, which makes her come across as quite jealous. Its like she thinks her voice puts her on a higher level then the likes of Britney and Beyonce but in the pop music world its all about the whole package, which Christina doesnt have as good as the other girls.

I think Monday Morning, Birds of Prey and Little Dreamer are brilliant songs off her deluxe version, they're what the album should have sounded like.

I'm still pissed no collaboration with Goldfrapp made it onto the CD.

The stubborn dummy is wasting another promo opportunity by performing Not Myself Tonight and WooHoo as two songs in a three-song medley (third is Prima Donna) at the MTV Movie Awards when both are DOA on the charts and will do absolutely zip for her sales.

I have nothing else to say about this until Christina's album has been out for a couple weeks.

I admit I was part of the hate at first. It was fun as she had dissapointed me with Back To Basics so much, and my whole fandom skydived around then. I think I've even trampled over the CD a couple of times I cared so little about it. But I'm really now starting to feel sorry for her. I think this CD is hit and miss, just like Back To Basics was, but the hits on this CD are greater and show the brilliance of Stripped (I Am, You Lost Me, All I Need, basically the ballads) and the misses (My Girls, Prima Donna, Bionic) are even more horrid then B2B. So I'm not sure what to think of her talent anymore. Or her in general.

I liked Back To Basics so much that I had a lot more hope for this album, and was underwhelmed by... her approach. B2B seemed sooo fresh at the time and this album, well... "2007 time capsule" as someone put it

Bionic is a good album. It's much better than B2B. My favorites are bionic, Monday Morning, Glam, vanity, birds of prey, I am, and little dreamer. I think that she's making bad singles choices.

I really like some of the slower and midtempo tracks, like Birds of Prey...

don't really like the uptempo tracks.
