hmmm So basically...

Christina had beef with Mary J over a handshake gone wrong.

Christina had beef with Mariah cuz Mimi couldn't sleep and hold down her anxiety pills.

Christina had beef with Beyonce over fashion choices.

Christina had beef with Brittany over a kiss gone wrong.

Christina has beef with Gaga cuz she doesn't stay on the internet.

Sounds to me like some same ole catfight shit that always happens among female music artists. If this is what constitutes burnin' bridges in the music biz I'd hate to see what kind of drama Miley Cyrus done stirred up.

Christina's first celebrity sin was telling her friends ON CAMERA all of Eminem's personal business about his daughter and ex-wife.

I think the ONLY poor thing's sin is always starting shit that she couldn't finish.

The fact that her petty quarrels are more infamous than her music speaks volumes though. Madonna talked BIG SHIT, but at least the woman was and still is consistent with her craft.

Xtina is the personafied version of J.B.'s song "Talking Loud and saying nothing".

Honestly i dont know, but she seems like there is an ego, but again if she were a man it wouldnt be an issue, i mean Elton,Prince,Sting,John Mellencamp,Bono etc..all have tremendous attitudes but also back it up with their amazing talents, and she is talented but as a woman, with attitude, shes a bitch to the public and that is the way its always been with females

That's true. If she is.... shrug

I think, when you're a serious musician, you tend to care less about hits and more about putting out a good ALBUM. Christina even said something to that effect in a recent interview for Bionic.

If she were anything resembling a serious artist, she would not still be putting lyrics like this to her name:

* All the boys think it's cake when they taste my *woohoo*, you don't even need a plate, just ya face and my *woohoo*

* I make myself so much wetter/I'm so fucking hot and sexy/I turn myself on (her toddler son is also on this track, disturbed yet?)

* I take myself to be my lawfully wedded bitch.

* I'm kissing all the boys and girls, someone call the doctor cuz I lost my mind. (cuz you can only be bisexual when you're drunk and "faking it")

She also wouldn't be depicting herself like this:

In what retarded world is any of this the work of a "serious" artist? This is a deluded pop star with the serious talent and ability to BE taken very seriously and become better than anyone else around right now. Yet she is stuck on being the most controversial, the most sexual and outlandish and the one with the ~~IMAGE~~. She's so stuck on seeming like the BEST of everything ever, she doesn't realise she's actually the worst at it and the last to do it.

Just quit the shit and SING, dammit.

So Christina is going to have to have a nervous breakdown, shave her head, be committed; and, admit that she's a diva and will change before people begin to appreciate her vocal abilities? confused I still don't know why people are still putting these two women's names in the same sentence to this day...didn't get it back in 1999 when they both debuted either. One is a vocalist. The other is an image with a soundtrack who puts her whole life on display for all the world to see so of course more people are routing for her because they watched her lose it in front of the world. I was never a Britney fan and even I felt sorry for her and was rooting for the girl. Christina really brought the distaste on herself because of her attitude but at the end of the day; the girl is a very good vocalist and that's all that really matters to me when it comes to music. I honestly haven't heard any of the negativity in that article, and I've been following this release rather closely. I've read uncountable positive articles about the album and how people are looking forward to it. I also believe her reasons for postponing the tour make perfect sense. I mean, the tickets hadn't gone on sale yet, so you can't blame slow ticket sales. confused Also, you think Britney has an "it" factor and Christina does not come off well as a person? Uhh, what rock have you been living under for the last five years? lol

God, preach it! Britney has always appeared so 'fake' to me. I like some of her songs, but the girl can't sing.

Xtina, on the other hand, HAS that it factor. She gets on stage, and blows everyone away with her voice. Were you not watching her performance of "Lift Me Up" on the Haiti benefit concert?

Xtina can be b*tchy at times, but that's because she suffered child abuse at the hands of her father. She HAD to grow that hard shell, in order to not go insane. The lyrics of "Fighter" are pretty much autobiographical.

Xtina is a bitch because it's who she is. It has nothing to do with "abuse" suffered from her daddy. That's something crap she embellished to sell records, chile! Give me a break! She's bitchy because she knows she can blow all these other singers out the water, yet she has about as much personality as a door handle wink

I have low standards because I'd get nasty with a creative, talented, beautiful, and hopefully as dirty as she portrays herself multi-millionare? lol Well, at least I'm honest about it. Unlike all the hateful, jealous, catty women who frequent this website. The mess you guys have been talking in this thread has nothing to do with her music. Just your hate. *shrug*

falloff @ creative and talented. I've only talked about her career so far, since there's no point in speculating on a stranger's actual personality (although if she's anything like she is in her interviews, in real life, she's the exact kind of person I stay far away from and apparently Hollywood agrees). Her steadily bombing career speaks for itself, people just do not like her or what she does any more.

I kinda feel bad for Christina. There really is no way to stand out and be unique these days.Everything has been done before.Weird outfits, blatant sexuality, nudity,"shocking" statements in interviews...Madonna and others did all this in the 80s.In fact, the 80s was the last era in which artists were truly unique. After that period ended, there was nowhere else to go.No more ground to be broken.

Perhaps Christina should simply look the other way, dress like a classy woman, get rid of the gimmicks and get out there and just SING! She has an amazing voice. She should release a strong, classy ballad.

There is plenty of new ground to be broken. LOTS!!!

But only by the right gifted artists. Christina unfortunately, is not one.

Although Christina has a magnificent voice, she does not have Madonna's or Britney's ear for catchy accesible melodies and songwriting.

She could dress up in a chicken costume, and it woudlnt matter if the songs were there.

But on Bionic, theyre not.

Not matter what the image, its really as simple as that.

She's cooked . She should just let Bionic slide by like Kelly Clarkson did with My December, and jump her arrogant, narrow ass back in the studio and whip up 12 new songs, and get them out by year's end at the latest.

I agree. The cd sucks bad - it's totally not her. This whole re-invention thing that Christina's hocking is sooo contrived & pretentious. I just wish she would be her natural self and stop with all the gimmicks. Who is Christina? She has yet to carve out her own signature look & style...she's always dressing up as someone else. Another thing, none of her music ever seems to meet the quality that she would have us believe in her interviews. That's one of my main criticisms with her. I have a feeling this album is going to bomb badly.

The pics would be cool if they were of anybody BUT HER. I love her voice and this to me is just a step down for her. When you have raw and natural talent you shouldn't have to go to this extreme...which is why you see it in the dance clubs. It's for folk who are out to party....not promote an album.
