Yeah it's out in Europe. It'll be out in July in the US.

It is a great album, it does sound very electronic compared to her previous albums, which is no bad thing.
She was on UK tv last week doing a couple of performances, and she is looking fantastic.
Second great album of the year.....so far.

hmph!

It's very different to her other albums, I'm not liking this electro vibe at all. Her other albums were far more varied and eclectic, but this album is pretty much all club type music. Kinda disappointed but maybe it will grow on me...The video for Acapella is awesome though thumbs up!

I'd never put on headphones and listen to "Fleshtone" again. It's not fit for any club I'd want to patronize...and I'm not trying to insult when I say that; it's personal taste.

I really didn't care for it at all.

She sounds worse than she ever has vocally, and the beats outside of "Intro" and "Emancipate" are that cold, empty, grooveless, modern house music that hacks like David Guetta love to put out. That's a lose/lose situation to me. The only songs I remember caring about were those two and maybe "Brave". Very little of it was danceable...or even moveable...it really just sounded like noise.

But I'm sure that was the point. Kelis and this whole direction has seemed very calculated from the start yet she doesn't seem best suited for it at all. She doesn't even seem into her performances. I've always been a fan of hers but I totally think it's a one-off experiment.

[Also keep in mind that this opinion is coming from a person that lives for Deep and Soul House, which is the complete opposite of what's on here]

hmph! hmph! hmph! lol kidding, listened to it on the way to work and think I hate it more. It just doesn't have any heart in it at all. I like that she's trying something different but now she sounds like any other pop act. I'll just stick to listening to her last album Kelis Was Here until she releases something good again smile

Well I could not wait two months I had ta have it.

I like it HELLUVA lot better than Kelis Was Here...the whole album segues together in a fashion like Madonna's "Confessions" on a Dancefloor. There are experiemntal vocal edits, nice beats..spacey sounds. The songwriting is alright but the production overtakes what she is saying or what the song is about sometimes but maybe its just what I hear first when I hear a song. Can pretty much dance to this whole album without a skip in a gay dance club..even though I dont usually dance to this type of music.
