13.Always (Bon Jovi)
Or the sad document of how a good 80s rock band sold their souls to pop ballads with truly cheesy lyrics...on top of that, the video was the most annoying of the early 90s... barf

This song brings me back to my saturday job circa94, chart radio that repeated itself practically every hour, when this played I felt some emotional charge, it's quite sweet methinks.

I certainly prefer This Ain't a Love Song or even Bed of Roses, but I can't stand Always...

The video was filmed a few hundred metres from my home at Greenlane events centre/Ellerslie Race course in Auckland

Yes, Moonbean listed it, that is actually from my homeland, New Zealand and the guy who sang it died recently, so tread carefully with criticism guys

Opinions are funny. lol "One Week" has always made my skin crawl -- I've loathed that song from the first time I heard it. (Although I haven't heard it in years, so maybe I'd like it. Nah, I doubt it.) We are on the same page there without a doubt.

OTOH, "Kiss Me" is one of my favorites. Sweet without being cloying, there's something purely magical about that song. Meanwhile, "Livin' la Vida Loca" is just pure fun.

KISS ME is the BIGGEST PIECE OF CRAP EVER!! lol Hell, a few years ago, I tried to make an objective compilation of 90s pop hits, but Kiss Me was so sticky, dumb and borderline irritating that I left it out of the list for good! ill lol

But Livin' the Vida Loca is entertaining enough... cool lol

9. Where have all the cowboys gone - Paula Cole 1996/97?
Ridiculous Alanis Morrisette wannabe, with ridiculous lyrics (I'm gonna get you ready in my 57 chevy), and lyrics that put womens lib back in the 50s, "I'll get the coffee, you go have a beer"

Damn, the point of that song just went whoosh! right over your head.

10. Breakfast at Tiffanys - Deep Blue Something 1996?
God this was annoying, a one hit wonder and played to death on AOR and MOR stations, it wasn't even very good as middle of the road adult contemporary crap.

4. Macarena - Los Del Mar 1996
The original was bad enough, but this was a low grade remake by the apparent creators of this song was insuffrable

I'm with you on this. God, those songs were fucking awful.
