1)Let's Wait A While
2)Nasty 3)When I Think of You 4)Pleasure Principle 5)What Have You Done For Me Lately 6)Control You forgot this single: 'Funny How Time Flies(When Your Having Fun)' but it would be ranked seventh for me anyway. According to Wikipedia, Janet wrote 'Nasty' and 'WHYDFML' after a sexual harrassment incident: Jackson recalled that during the recording of the album, she was threatened by a group of men outside of her hotel in Minneapolis. She stated that "[t]he danger hit home when a couple of guys started stalking me on the street ... Instead of running to Jimmy or Terry for protection, I took a stand. I backed them down. That's how songs like 'Nasty' and 'What Have You Done for Me Lately' were born, out of a sense of self-defense."
She's soo awesome. Prince Rogers Nelson

1.What Have You Done For Me Lately
2.The Pleasure Principle 3.Control 4.Nasty 5.When I Think Of You (still good but can't believe this went #1 when the others didn't) 6.Let's Wait Awhile (Janet's ballads up to 'Anytime Anyplace' had been a snore-fest) 'Diamonds' is probably better than all the singles off 'Control' but 'Diamnonds' and the Top 3 are pretty close

Oh, I disagree with that. The remix is a much bigger deal than the video IMO (although, "When I Think of You" and "The Pleasure Principle" are coincidentally my favorite songs and favorite videos of this era). "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

If I had to rank them based on their videos, my list would totally change. It would be:
1)Nasty 2)Pleasure Principle 3)WHYDFML 4)Let's Wait A While 5)Control 6)WITOY A video can sometimes make a shitload of difference for a song...not matter how good the song is. I'm not a fan of 'Thriller' (never really was honestly), but that video is fantastic. Prince Rogers Nelson
