I'm just curious). idk about R. stealin from Stokley being that they're both real distinctive and his vocal style is closer to a blend of Ron Isley, Donny Hathaway, and Marvin Gaye, where Stokley draws from falsettos of cats like Stevie Wonder, Phillip Bailey, Michael Jackson and the timbre's of Tomi Jenkins & Wayne Cooper (Cameo) and Terrence Trent D'Arby. I'm sure MC has plenty of great vocal work from Stokley since the stuff I've checked out early in there career. But, I've always dug Stokley's vocals on "So Fine". The energy is just crazy. He and the lead guitar worked great together on that joint! 
I know alot of people have these MC vs. TTT battles, but in my opinion, Ol'Ralphy boy ain't trying to see Stokley vocally. Rafael is a one of the funkiest bass players to come out of the 80's & 90's though | |
