JW community: does Prince know Akiko Yano? Akiko Yano ( www.akikoyano.com and www.myspace.com/akikoyano ) is amongst my favorite musicians, if not my second or third fave just after Prince and Bill Laswell. She's japanese and so is her career (very few people know her in US and Europe), but she's been living in NY and working with american musicians for the last 20 years or so... & i just learned recently that she's a JW 
I was wondering, is there some kind of a chance that because of that Prince might have heard of her because of her being a JW? They're basically the same age, she's an impressive piano player and singer, they share the same faith... I'd just be soooo happy to hear them do a song together, or play a few songs together live... I remember Prince liked kate Bush, and Akiko is really like a Japanese counterpart to kate Bush, so i think he's be impressed by some of her albums...
