JIMI/DAGGER RECORDS RELEASES

Man,I have discovered that "where it's at" is Jimi outtakes and demos on the Dagger Records releases. I first got The Baggy's Rehearsals and got so hooked on that that I wanted more. I read reviews of other titles like Morning Symphony Ideas,Burning Desire, and Hear My Music.I had to have 'em. I quickly got those (also, not a Dagger release, but Valleys of Neptune) and am so addicted to this stuff it's ridiculous! Jimi was so much the man that it's stupid...maybe even retarded(no offense meant) !!! He has covered so many styles in his regular album releases then I hear this stuff loaded with prog,a little jaz, blues, staright up rock, funk, punk touches,folk,...you name it! This has taken my love and respect for Jimi even higher than it already was and I didn't think that was possible. He was so musical that it is almost unbelievable.Man,oh,man!Jimi will always be "where it's at"!!

Thibaut

I think the studio stuff he was recording right before his dead shows he was more than a rock figure, he would have done funk and other stuff too I'm sure
