A) I was joking about Bobby
B) No one can rival R Kelly in pissing on underage girls
C) I am a Debarge fan and proud of it. They have crafted some of the greatest songs in RnB that have in turn been endlessly sampled.

A) It wasn't funny
B) I bet no one couldn't and he still miraculously pisses on your faves. Reason why you're in this thread pressed as ever lol
C) No, they haven't. They're a bunch of druggies.

But, they are a bunch of PAID "druggies"...Due to others sampling their music.

At one time, i was a Kelly enthusiast but, obviously, after 2003, his music was an avalanche! Went from pretty good to absolute disaster.

I haven't had one of his albums since TP3 and that was a 5/10, and that's being generous. So, if this is his next step, i MAY purchase.
This song, whilst trumping his last 5 years of crap, is still cheesy and unoriginal (This is a mans world, When a man loves a woman).
However, his vocals are still killer.

He just needs to rid himself of those awful sounding fake horns, compose and arrange better. Also, this could be one of few more RnB tracks on a Autotune ridden mainstream hip hop album.

Lastly, King of RnB? lol In the mainstream (MTV) he has a chance but, elsewhere he would get absolutely slaughtered.

Bobby Brown is the king of R&B (Rocks & Blunts).

R.Kelly is also the king of R&B (Relieving & Bladders).

What a load of shit. Awful cheap production, an empty pastiche of a song, and dreadful vocals as per usual (complete with autotune). This motherfucker tries too hard when he sings. He's no natural singer.

But he sure is the best when it comes to fucking underage girls.

R.kelly is not the king of R&B but to dismiss R.kelly and describe him as a talentless puppet is just wrong, The man is talented, and anyone who says otherwise is simply on serious crack.

OH GOD! rolleyes confused
I never implied such a thing. I liked R Kelly when his music had substance. Nowadays, his music doesn't even hold up with the new generation. lol I'm not saying he's untalented or anything. It's just that his music is not what it used to be.

I concur....with this caveat.....he suffers from the same deficits as his contemporaries.....the lack of melody & memorable hooks. Without AT LEAST either.....there is NO HOPE of being a pop star or more than the "king" of turd island.

I never said that R.kelly's today music is memorable and melodic , but I was disgreeing with folks who dismissed him as an artist and talented individual.

no insult intended, all. Just making the observation that we have a SEVERE lack of talent in some crucial arenas.

Singers are about .01 a dozen these daze.

I'd take ONE true musician who knew & respected his / her craft over a "talented" singer any day in 2010.

My sympathies to what the youngn's will have to "reminisce" about 20 years forward.

R. Kelly will be "the guy who pissed on an under-age girl in a closet"...any student of US culture (and is cynically honest) knows it.

I wish that was true...but the cultural IQ says diff.

MJ was a little more than a drug addict & Mamma Cass choked on a ham sandwich.

That's NOT a racial thang....it's a US collectively "STUPID as a mafocka" thang.

The dif in the end.....20 years (say) on.....is the music. R. Kelly got NUTTIN.
