I think the main reason that the "Hairspray" remake sucked is because...they got rid of all the great original songs and had kids singing these crappy made up ones. Give me the original "Hairspray" any day. I recently bought that movie just because I happened to be thinking about it the other day...it wasn't even on sale, so that's rare for me (actually, maybe it was...not sure)! I definitely want to buy the soundtrack, too. "It's Madison Time".

I'm torn. I feel bad for Miley and I feel like she is kinda slutty.
She is old enough to take responsibility for her actions. (At her age, we all know what we are doing - so the "She is a kid" thing is a little played out. Sorry guys.)

However, I feel bad that she is just a puppet and a product in a world,
where she thinks she is a serious artist. She thinks her career is going
to equal that of Madonna or Janet Jackson. And it will be a sad day when
she ends up the next Lindsey Lohan in a few years.

My hope is she can end up well adjusted like Hilary Duff,
and realize that, her fame was a phase, she wasn't a serious artist,
and enjoy that period for what it was, keep a few of the Miley dolls
and DVDs for keep-sakes for her kids, and move on
to the next project no one will know about or remember.

Something tells me she is going the way of the train-wreck though given
her "edgy" *cough SLUTTY cough* new music video, and now this.

I didn't see the video, but honestly, this is wrong on so many levels. Miley Cyrus is a teenager, she shouldn't be giving 45 year old men lap dances.

However, to say that the guy didn't enjoy it is probably wrong. All 45 year old men look at teenage girls, they just choose to not act on their fantasies. This is one step away from being charged for sexual assault on a minor.

And what is up with the people cheering the 9 year old sister of Miley Cyrus? Smack her butt, on the floor, till it's sore? Those are incredibly sexually charged lyrics, and a 9 year old CHILD singing them...god!
