I've always loved P!nk and her "fuck you" attitude

I loved that part about Aguilera. That was from Behind The Music. It's sad to hear about the rift w/ Perry, and that there's still a bit of hesitation there. They made good music together. I preferred their collaborations over the ones w/ Aguilera overall.

In the early 90s,Prince opened up with a Glam Slam nightclub with his best friend/former bodyguard and business partner Gilbert Davison, who was also the president of Paisley Park Records.By the mid-90s,the two guys were no longer friends. They had a bitter argument.Prince removed all of his memorabilia from the Glam Slam nightclub and Gilbert retained ownership of the club.I think he even changed the name? Sheila E. was close friends with Gilbert and Prince,so she was caught in the middle of their feud. When she agreed to perform at Gilbert's club,Prince was irritated and stopped speaking to her.In a 1995 on-line Internet chat,Sheila revealed that she was "no longer allowed at Paisley Park, but I still love him". Yeah that wasn't right at all. Bad Prince, bad. This is why I think there may be some truth to that Sinead O'Connor story. He has a long history of getting into heated arguments/disagreements with his female associates.Prince likes to control women, which is why he could never have a relationship with a strong, independent woman who's not afraid of him.

http://video.google.com/v...624527780# Janet dissed Madonna alot in the early 90s.In her Vibe cover story from 1994,she even criticized the 'Sex' book.In the video posted above, she implies that Madonna is too trashy and vulgar. It's ironic that, several years later,Janet started taking off her clothes and acting all slutty too, lol. And let's not even mention the Superbowl.

Elton is like someone with Gay Tourette's who has no control over what he says or does. He just rails against everyone. Yet in another film or some documentary, he compliment Madonna, except when she's political (he was referencing the Re-Invention Tour). She needs to just hush. He's a bloated has been, and frankly a lot of his music isn't that great anymore. It was a bit too artsy back in his day for me. (Dare I say it, Ewan MacGregor sang "Your Song" 100x better than Elton did!) Elton John is an old,bloated,self-absorbed,bitchy drama queen The only time he's happy is when he's sitting around talking shit about someone.I'm a huge fan of his music, but I think he has alot of "issues".A few years after dissing Madonna, there he was,in the audience at one of her 'Confessions Tour' shows.

Now see, this is a valid criticism.Madonna really was "rude" in the 80s.I've heard alot of stories about Madonna being kinda rude to other stars.Cher was good friends with Sean Penn. She saw him (and his wife Madonna) at a party and started chatting. The story goes that,Madonna started rolling her eyes and tried to pull Sean away.So if this is true,I can see why Cher wasn't too fond of her. Patti LaBelle told a similiar story. In the mid-80s,she ran into Madonna at a party and started chatting with her, complimenting her.Everything was cool, until Madonna saw Philip Bailey (of Earth Wind and Fire) across the room. She got all excited, ignored Patti and ran over to talk to Philip

http://video.google.com/v...624527780# That feud goes back even further than that 1992/3 interview. In Truth or Dare, the documentary by Madonna about The Blond Ambition Tour of 1990, showed her in a UK shop (possibly Chanel). She came out of the dressing room wearing a long, black jacket, buttoned up to the neck. She said, "It's very 'Obey Everything I Say'." One of her dancers said, "It's very Janet Jackson Rhythm Nation." Madonna retorted, "Bite your tongue." I could be totally wrong about this, but I suspect that Janet's problem with Madonna is because of comments that Madonna made about certain Jackson members. In a 1989 interview,Madonna was asked her opinion of LaToya Jackson's Playboy cover issue,in which LaToya posed nude."She had a major tit job",Madonna replied.I think she made a few other unflattering comments. In the early 90s,Madonna began hanging out with Michael Jackson. The two were planning a duet,"In The Closet",but it never happened.Madonna made some comments that implied that Michael is gay, saying that she wants him to hang around with her dancers,to get him out of the "shoebox" that he's hiding in.Her original concept for the "In The Closet" video featured both of them dressed in drag!

In 1979,people would see Millie Jackson in public and assume that she was Donna Summer! They'd get excited, ask for her autograph, thinking that she was the Disco Queen. This annoyed Millie, who complained about it in the media:
"Everytime I change my hairstyle, she changes hers. What people don't know about her is,she's short, has big teeth and a wide can"

It doesn't seem like the Playboy thing would be enough for anyone to get that feudy though. How many comments were made about MJ to that point? Remember, BAD was already out and his skin and face were significantly different from his Thriller days. Why wasn't JJ made at anyone from that naysaying? It was 1990 that MJ and Madonna went to the Oscars together. That was the same year, or the year after the Truth or Dare comment. We didn't see the comment until 1991 when the film was released - she made the comment in July 1990 while in Europe. So why was she hating then? * March 1989 - Madonna makes tit comment about LaToya - 1989 (Issue was March 1989, interview was probably in January-ish). * July 5th(?) 1990 - Madonna comment on Janet - (Probably between July 3-6 - she was in Paris those days, made the comment at a Paris shop, and had one day off from the tour on July 5th) * March 25, 1991 - Madonna and MJ at 63rd Academy Awards. It's safe to assume they hung out a before the awards, with the now infamous "movie night" story, and other times as well. Remember Madonna talking about giving MJ a make over for a magazine? He was supposedly "totally into it". She wanted to dress him down with jeans, a nice pull over, etc. He later was in a magazine w/ a varsity sweater on, and jeans. Not too much of a make over as he'd worn a similar thing in the "Thriller" video. * November 26, 1991 - MJ's Dangerous is released, albeit without Madonna on board. So does the feud stem further back than January 1989, is the question, and WHY? I can't see JJ dissing Madonna based on what Madonna said about her brother or sister. Seems like it'd have to be a more direct attack by Madonna to spawn that. Besides, why is it a big deal if LaToya did have a tit job? It wasn't exactly a secret by 1989 when the magazine came out, right? Sooooo.....it's either because of the Playboy comment, or it goes further back. I have a feeling it's Madonna who started the whole thing. The whole thing pains me. Two of my favorite all time performers, and they'll never work together because of whatever. No, they aren't the greatest singers in the world, but they've still written and sung some of the most memorable music we've heard in 50 years (as has other artists, I'm not saying they're the only two to have done that). Frankly I think "Express Yourself" would have been a great duet for them.

Well my favorite rock star diss was from Lou Reed: "I really enjoyed the shows I did in London at the Rainbow Theater. I kept looking down twenty feet into the orchestra pit and thinking 'Frank Zappa fell into that pit.' And I really hate Frank Zappa, and it made so happy thinking about that."
Incidentally, in my world, KISS towers mightily over Carlos Santana. He's a fine musician I guess but it's not the kind of thing I want to listen to for more than 10 minutes in a day. I don't even own any Santana records but KISS Alive I and II get regular play. Hell I'd rather listen to the bootlegs of Paul Stanley's stage banter than a lot of Santana music.

Gosh, that's kind of a mean thing for him to say. Any idea when he said it? I guess eventually Lou Reed must have grown to appreciate Frank Zappa: Incidentally, in my world, KISS towers mightily over Carlos Santana. just click to open this one: http://www.dailymotion.co...k-feud_fun and in this youtube clip, watch the whole thing-Christina is mentioned at the beginning and then again towards the end. The middle is about Linda Perry. I love how P!nk doesn't give a damn-she will say just how she feels I love when P!nk dissed Kanye's ass too. P!nk has gotten a few nasty comments from other artists also because she's extremely outspoken and independent...much like Christina. P!nk is gonna say what she has to say and not back down from it. If she doesn't like something or someone she's going to be honest, which I don't really see as being all that diva. Honest is just honest. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, than it's a duck. If she walks like a diva bitch and acts like a diva bitch, than she's just that. From that video, it's seems apparent that she and Christina got off on the wrong foot when they were beginning production on 'Lady Marmalade' and the record exec rudely began demanding that the powerhouse parts of the song be given to Christina and P!nk objected to it greatly. That may have been what initially soured their relationship forever because they are both strong and opinionated females to begin with and ultimately why P!nk and Christina don't get along now...not to mention the Linda Perry tug 'o' war. Once the bridges have been burned, it's extremely difficult to rebuild them. I love me some Christina, but it's no secret that she's a diva, but when you've dealt with the things she's dealt with at such a young age, I can't really blame her for putting on that 'bitch armor'...which is the same way I feel about P!nk because she's had a tough life journey also. In an E! special she did a few years ago, Christina's mom was talking about how Christina would enter talent shows and win and would get evil comments and dirty looks from the other contestant's mothers...not the kids; but, the parents, which is really fucked up for a grown-up to say nasty shit about a child in front of them. There were also several times when her mom had to walk Christina to class because other girls would be waiting to kick her ass before school because they were jealous of her vocal talents. If I grew up around fucked up haters who have malicious intentions towards me, I'd probably be a mega bitch too. For all those artists who have said that Christina was rude to them, there are many who have praised her talents, professionalism, and the passion she has when it comes to her craft. At the end of the day, if they can 'SANG' that's all that matters to me. Diva bitch attitude or not, just get on that stage and leave your heart on it and I ain't mad at cha.
