Boy George Trashes Madonna

The Diss: "I just think she's a vile, hideous human being with no redeeming qualities."

The Culture Club singer's 2005 autobiography, 'Straight,' took several stars to task. During promotional interviews, he was especially harsh on Madonna, saying, "There's nothing nice about her. I've never heard anyone say anything nice abut her at all."

OUCH!

First - A SECOND biography? REALLY?

Second - says the drug addicted, bloated, wasted-talent 80's hasbeen.

I agree with the first.
The second is a bit cruel (he did have a hit with "The Crying Game" in the nineties...produced by Pet Shop Boys).

Carlos Santana is a sell out

He's right about KISS. I've said this for ages. KISS doesn't make memorable songs, nor are they trend-setting musicians. No one goes around humming "Love Gun" or "Deuce". If you look at the unplugged session where there is no flash, pomp, and circumstance - they're rather boring.

Santana a sell out? I don't remember a Santana casket or toilet paper.

And what is a "sell-out" anyway? Making radio friendly music like he did with Clive Davis' guidance? He sold records, a LOT. KISS claims to be the biggest Gold selling band of all time. Yet what does that say? It says that no more than 500,000 people at any given time wants to hear their song/album.

If that's a sell-out, then Prince has done the same thing over and over and over again.

In all fairness to Gene & Paul, KISS was intended to be a corporate rock & roll brand since day 1. So haters calling Gene Simmons a "sellout" is a great thing to him regardless.

As for Carlos, he really has no room to dis anyone. THIS dude is one of many people that allow Clvie Davis to change him to one of the biggest pop whores to ever blow on Clvie's ring. I expect that kind of behavior from Alicia Keys & Whitney Houston because they're not rock & roll. But Carlos Santana?!?

The one's that I remember soo clearly are these:

Madonna dissing Whitney Houston about 'I Will Always Love You''s chart topping longevity.

Madonna dissing Mariah Carey by "laughing 'hysterically' after being told her pop rival Mariah Carey had to cancel several tour dates due to poor ticket sales."

Madonna dissing Gwen Stefani
"She ripped me off. We work with a lot of the same people. She married a Brit, she’s got blonde hair and she likes fashion."

Courtney Love and Madonna's hate fest

Luther Vandross strong dislike of EnVogue and Anita Baker

Notorious BIG dissing Xscape
"I’d rather fuck RuPaul than those ugly ass Xscape biches."
He apologized before his death.

Tupac dissing Biggie the song 'Hit em up'

Justin Timberlake dissing Taylor Hicks from 'American Idol'
"People think he looks so normal, and he’s so sweet and he’s so earnest, but he can’t carry a tune in a bucket. If [Hicks] has any skeletons whatsoever, if God forbid, he’s gay, and if all these people in Mississippi who voted for him are like, ‘Oh my god, I voted for a queer!’ It’s just too much pressure."

Christina Aguilera dissing Mariah Carey
"She was never cool to me to the point that one time we were at a party and I think she got really drunk, and she had just really derogatory things to say to me. But it was at that time that she had that breakdown, so she might have been very medicated."

AND Lady Gaga
"This person [Lady Gaga] was just brought to my attention not too long ago. I’m not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I don’t know if it is a man or a woman. I just wasn’t sure."

Mariah Carey dissing Eminem--the songs 'Clown' and 'Obsessed' are most likely about him

Gene Simmons dissing the Osbournes
"My family is more structured and they behave properly. My kids don’t take drugs, they’re well mannered and properly disciplined and I don’t go letting dogs poop on the carpet. I’m not a drug addict - in fact I have never been drunk, I don’t smoke or have ever taken drugs and never will."

and Sharon dissing his ass back
"He said that our kids are on drugs and that his aren't messed up like that. He'll always be C-list, and his wife's snatch has been rubbed on every pole in L.A. I'll fucking tear his head off and stick it up his wife's cunt!"

Madonna threw the first strike by admitting through the media that she didn't like Mariah's music at all, calling it "boring".

When the media went back to tell Mariah what Madonna said, Mariah stated that Madonna hasn't been an impact in the music industry since the 80's.

Remember, THIS feud started within the 1990-91 time flame, when Mariah first reached mainstream success. Around that time, Madonna hasn't had another hit since Vogue.

They still draw large crowds with the same basic setlist that they had back in the '70s. They've got at least 2-2 1/2 hours of memorable music. It might not be to your taste but the millions of people around the world that go to the shows seem to like it just fine.

Memorable vs. familiar. "Ooops I Did It Again" is familiar, doesn't mean it's memorable. And Santana is right...that 2.5 hours is all flash and glitter.

Prince was sweatin' MJ big time back then, and it's obvious as sunshine in July. Prince was still making great music for the fans and trying new things, but he was losing Top 40 appeal, little by little.

BAD garnered more #1 hits than Thriller, with five singles peaking at #1. (It's the only album to do that.) Prince released SOTT and Lovesexy in the two years that MJ was promoting BAD, and gearing up for a tour in 1989 (I think).

BAD sold 30 million records. Neither SOTT or Lovesexy, as great as they are, even came close to that in America, and was sporadic in other countries (although Lovesexy did reach #1 in the UK). Combined, they didn't even clear 6 million in the US. BAD hit #1 in every country except AUS where it hit #2. It actually did better than Thriller in the #1 spot in the international charts.

Prince needs to check himself on this one. BAD was chalked full of incredible music, (it's still my favorite MJ album). SOTT was primed for great singles, but Prince lost interest and couldn't stick with it. Lovesexy was a money gulp when it came to the tour.

It's not about which album is better over the others, but the public has spoken on that 2 year time period. The only pathetic thing about that time Prince's attitude. So much for finding God. He should have dueted on something else besides "Bad" (although that would have been classic), and just done the duet like everyone (the fans) wanted! He could have used the bucks.
