25 Most Influential POP Albums OF THE PAST 25 YEARS Not necessarily the ones with the largest sales....the albums you think have influnced where we are now, 2010, and all the influences that have gotten us here since 85. So your albums must fall under anything released Jan 1, 1985 through December 31,2009. Album, Artist and why if you want. said album has to fall under MOSTLY POP.

Did you see Spin Magazine's list? really interesting "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

not sure how "influential" brandy's album was from your list. I think i'd replace it with Aaliyah's One In a Million (both are probably more R&B than pop tho), due to it being the catalyst for Timbaland's "double time" sound. Not sure if Annie Lennox's diva should be on the list, love her and her voice, but don't recall one song or the album getting much "traction" (which is not to say that therefore it wasn't "influential", just would like to see/hear HOW)
