I understand that you have your opinion but this statement implies that Kanye's truth is the absolute and irrefutable truth. Also I as a black man can't sytand it when black people defend other black people's rudeness and lack of class for being real and truthful. We all owe each other common decency and courtesy. Kanye is spoiled and spiteful when things don't coincide with 'his truths'. Musically he may be a genius(I'm not a fan of his music for the most part) but on a person level he's an asshole. Making hit records doesn't excuse that for anyone. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

I totally agree, I love how he used the autotune on 808s & Heartbreak. I also love how Kanye isn't afraid to explore with sounds and artists outside of his genre. Totally agree! That's what I love about Kanye too

There's certainly more than 10 replies in this thread now.
I dig Kanye. He's one of the few rappers(if not the only) post 2002 that i can even tolerate. With that said he's a grown ass man now, he can tone down his bs antics. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

Madonna touched upon taboo issues and got upfront about sexuality at a time when society was extremely prudish about those things. She pushed the envelope but never stepped on someone elses limelight to do it. Kanye bumrushed the stage to interupt somebody elses moment in the limelight to basically say he really enjoyed staring at his former boss' wife's ass! Society wasn't waiting for someone to embarrass Taylor Swift. True there's no such thing as bad press but Kanye really should be more aware of others before he can expect anyone to be aware of and award him for his accomplishments. Before this incident more people were inclined to say Kanye was a genius who made great albums. Now it's more likely they'll say Kanye's an asshole who made great albums. But at least people are talking about him. But at least people are talking about him. Well interrupting Taylor's moment was wrong. But he apologized to her later. Plus he took a much needed break and vacation after that..Taking himself off the Lady Gaga tour. Kanye never grieved after his mother's tragic death and blamed himself for her death. He still does.So maybe that was his way of lashing out. Everybody grieves differently. But he seems in a much better place now. I still understand him. He is a very cool person to know. People who feel they are in a position to offer their opinions in a public forum should also be of a mind to know when their behavior is inappropriate and hurtful. The routine these days is to act out, get the press, then offer up some half assed public apology and then do some "rehab". It's tired and overdone at this point. If Kanye feels he's the 'voice' of a generation or the 'truth' that needs telling then he should be more accountable and no wuss up everytime he gets called out for his lack of class and manners. It'd be easier to respect him if he held tight to the strength of his convictions. If you say something then you meant it. Why apologize? When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Kanye's behavior for the most part (acting like a spoiled child whenever he loses an award, the Taylor Swift incident, his "George Bush doesn't like Black people" comment) is geneally completely inexcusable. Hopefully, during his hiatus, he's learned to conduct himself with more humility and less bravado. "Get up off that grey line"
