Actually this was a good episode for historical reasons.

Sylvia Robinson: There have been a few black women who've played important roles in the music business. Sylvia, was at the forefront of disco and Rap (Co-founder of Sugar Hill Records)and a talented songwriter/producer. Wrote songs for The Moments.

Ecstasy, Passion and Pain: Barbara Roy was basically the "band leader" for the group, she wrote most of songs and she plays guitar. My hero. smile

Yeah she co-founded the label with her husband Joe in 1976 and was the president of the company.

She was also part of "Mickey & Sylvia", who had a hit with "Love Is Strange"
"Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"
