Never liked "Sacred emotion", preferred the copycat ballaed he did called "love will survive" LOL. Love "Soldier of love" though. Written and produced by Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers, who did some cool stuff for other pop acts back in the day. Donny almost quite the business, but "Soldier of love" saved him LOL. I don't think they even planned it as a single in the US? It already bombed in the UK, when it was released through Virgin records (who afterwards tore up his contract and dropped him. Capitol picked up the album for the US). "Soldier of love" was really a rebirth for Donny. Corny but true. I know DJ's were not told who that song was by in the US for fear that the name Donny Osmond was poison. And Chris Brown thinks he has it bad LOL. Donny was labelled as poison for many years. Even Quincy Jones let him out of his contract in the mid 80's, before anything was even released LOL.

Big fan of this track as well. Sturken/Rogers struck again! Tony Lemans worked on a few tracks for his "eyes don't lie" album bytheway.
