Actually this was a good episode for historical reasons.
Sylvia Robinson: There have been a few black women who've played important roles in the music business. Sylvia, was at the forefront of disco and Rap (Co-founder of Sugar Hill Records)and a talented songwriter/producer. Wrote songs for The Moments. Ecstasy, Passion and Pain: Barbara Roy was basically the "band leader" for the group, she wrote most of songs and she plays guitar. My hero. ===== [Edited 5/1/10 21:57pm] | |
