Bobby Brown Interview

Everyone check out this new Bobby Brown interview he talks about his career, family life, and other musicians and personal stuff. It's one of the few times he talks about New Edition in depth his departure and that he was voted out but he wanted to move on and they were ready for him to go but he says they were there for him wheh ne was on his own and he realized those are his five best friends.

He talks about his children and his new lady in his life. He talks about the Heads Of State tour with Ralph & Johnny and Donnie & the rest of New Kids On The Block helping them out on a NE & New Kids On The Block tour this summer. He said that New Edition is gettin back together as a 6 man group this summer and everything has been worked out but they are finishing their shows out as Bell Biv DeVoe & Heads Of State. He talks about working with some great producers on some new projects which includes a new solo album, a Heads Of State album and finally he confirmed a New Edition album with all members he says he's 100% back in the group mentally & physically so I don't think they'll be anymore ego trips and a repeat of Home Again. They have the same management team as New Kids On The Block so a tour is goin down.

Keith Sweat has joined Bobby Ralph & Johnny as the Heads Of State thing at their show in Bronx this past weekend when Keith joined them onstage to sing Rock Wit Cha & My Prerogative Bobby put his arm around Keith Sweat and announced to the crowd the 4th member of Heads Of State Keith Sweat so maybe he'll collaborate with them and work on the Heads Of State or New Edition projects they always been tight. Johnny Gill announced on Monique he Keith & The O'Jays are goin out to do more tributes to Gerald & Sean Levert other members of New Edition may join in as well

Well here's Bobby's interview:

I've always been a fan of Bobby Brown. Always thought he was unfairly treated and blamed for Whitney Houston's troubles. When Whitney was even worse if u saw that Being Bobby Brown reality show. Whitney acted like a straight bitch on that show. Its funny how time shows the real person. Whitney is being heavily criticize for her lackluster concert tour and Bobby is moving on and being the real star. I'm glad he is off drugs and at peace and taking care of himself and looking better than ever.

Honey Whit and Bob both made themselves look like fools on that reality show. Bobby isn't a real star. Have you heard him sing lately? He sounds just as bad as Whitney, but he has NE to help him out. Bobby shouldn't be blamed for Whit's problems because she was using drugs before he came into her life. But he has also made terrible mistakes, so he's not innocent either. Basically, BOTH of those two people acted like fools, so neither one of them gets off the hook.

I see what your saying. But Bobby was looked at as a bad boy before Whitney was in the picture. I knew Bobby was doing drugs way before he got with Whitney. What I'm saying is the press made it like he corrupted Whitney. When as u said Whitney was already doing drugs and corrupted before Bobby. Her image was fake like a good girl when she was just as bad as Bobby all along.

THAT IS WHAT I'M SAYING!,I'm sorry to tell u Bobby to me sounds better than Whitney now. Did U see him sing on the reality show "Going Country". Whitney can't even last a whole song anymore without sweating and being out of breath. Its sad but true..

I think that it comes down to the fact that when you compare where Bobby and Whitney were, where they went, and where they are now, Whitney had much greater heights to fall from when it came to talent, class and fame. Bobby Brown looks like less of a trainwreck in comparison.

Good to hear Portrait is back. I actually dug them more so than most
of these other 90's acts. More power to all of them but as a consumer
i won't be checking or spending money to see any of them live.

I am a fan of all those groups and they are tight with each other being in that same realm of 90's R&B Groups so a lot will tour together if you don't wanna see them then you missin out though.

Actually, most of these acts aren't bad. Remember they came out in the 80s/90s. People that were in the entertainment biz then were still expected to have some kind of talent. I watched some of the Keith Sweat Hotel concerts on youtube and the performances were good. Silk did a great job. They still have tight harmonies.

BTW, if you want to know what happened to some of the old R&B acts, check them out on Youtube. Some of them have recent concerts and interviews, so you can catch up on them. Some of them also have myspace pages. There's info about Shai, Troop,Silk and The Boys on there, so I'm sure other R&B singers info can be found online too.
