Visually, the video is beautiful, clean and crisp, but concept wise, it looks like Slave 4 U, Womanizer, 3, Bad Romance, Human Nature (Madge), Green Light (Beyonce) and a shit load of other videos had one big orgy.

I think the last 30 seconds is the only important part because that bedroom scene makes me feel a certain kind of way and I don't even like hetero sex...

It's not the borrowing that bugs me, it's what she borrowed. It's a bad look to steal from within your own genre. Especially from a pop singer whose original video still gets played. It would be like Coldplay remaking a U2 video. It's like, yeah, duh, don't present the same thing to the same audience. That's why Madonna ripping off cinema (Metropolis, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes) worked, but pop singers ripping off each other doesn't.

Jeez, I still see the "Express Yourself" (and Madonna's "Human Nature") video played from time to time too. Maybe if Madonna had died in a fiery accident 20 years ago and those were the last remnants of her legacy, but the bitch is still recording today!

I didn't mind Gaga wearing the outfit from Who's That Girl because it's simply not one of Madonna's most over-played videos/movies/looks and certainly not as recent. It also only lasted briefly within a new context.

But Christina looks like she is remaking shot after shot. Not just standing at the top of a platform in the suit and monacle, but like... every other memorable part.

All these female artists are 96% Image , 4% talent.

Everyone tries so hard to be different and eccentric, it’s getting ridiculous.

Where is the originality?
