"diva" that she's quite dull. it's very clear when you listen to her own
music that eurythmics was indeed a band of 2 people who worked very well
together to make something magical out of their 2 talents.

alone they weren't as good as the sum of their parts but dave still had
an edge, where annie just played it safe and, imo, relied on her voice
to carry her instead of actual interesting music.

her albums are very well made and good but they are also very boring imo.

Agreed, Dave's post-Eurythmics work is quite good. "Sly-Fi" and "Greetings from the Gutter" in particular have some great moments, as do his albums w/ the Spiritual Cowboys.

And as much as I love Annie and enjoy her solo work, I agree that lacks that edge that Dave brought to it w/ Eurythmics. They were perfect together.
