What cartridge/stylus do you prefer on your turntable? 
M44G!!! Not for scratching, just steady mixing. I find the M44G's bass response better than the Shure M447 which sounds flatter (but seems built for scratching). | |

My tables came with the Stanton 680.v3. The only ones I have ever used so far. So I guess I prefer these till I have to buy new ones.

I have Stantons also. They don't look like that though. I bought my Stanton turntables in 2001 and took into consideration that I should only get turntables in which I was able to afford to replace the needles when they wore out. I looked up the needles on the internet at the time and they were around $25 at that time. I still have the same needles though and haven't had to replace them yet. . . . Also, not being the "snob" I was back when I was doin live work (my gear was all Mackie & ridiculous)....this place is has it ALL.

Audio technica or something like that? I havn't got a clue really. My Dad use to school me and my siblings on hi-fi though, how all the compartments need to add up (i.e brilliant speakers will still sound like shit without a brilliant Cd player to play it on etc..) Never play my record player much (except when converting). | |
