that would be a fair question if we got paid to look good 24 hours a day I thought Mariah got paid to sing. That statement is what jacks up every insecure individuals perception when they open a magazine or watch television. Celebrities don't owe it to any one to be glammed up 24 hours a day. that's like your spouse expecting you to look like you did on your wedding day for the rest of your life. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Second, it's OK to hate on her husband for wearing warm-ups in public. Yeah big deal about Mariah. I'm more concerned about that thing walking with her.

I wish some of y'all would stop hatin' on Mimi. If you are an enthusiast of her music, be happy for the music she made and on her happiness in her marriage. She worked really hard to be the musician she is, and she deserves respect for that.

Hope you're being sarcastic. Marrying a record label exec and cancelling single releases not to ruin her chart record is hardly something that should be respected. I actually can't believe she's working with JD yet again. She doesn't even want to hide the fact that all she cares about is scoring another "Always Be My Baby" and "We Belong Together". She's probably the only artist who keeps releasing song after song, album after album no matter if practically all of them flops. But that is due to her not being able to redeem herself with touring. Question is, for how long will the record label continue pumping the money into her flops?

Honestly, that's probably one of the main reasons why the divorce rate is soo high nowadays and why plastic surgery hasn't been severely affected by the recession...in fact its numbers have skyrocketed from what they were just 10 years ago. Many people are obsessed with staying young and beautiful because many people actually seem to really give a shit about what total strangers think about them for some stupid, pathetic reason. Unfortunately, we live in a superficial society so it really sucks for celebrities since they get more crucifixed than non-celebrities when they look a hot mess on their grocery shopping day. Sucks when your livlihood revolves soo heavily around being accepted by the public, but that's a huge part of the business they choose to remain a part of and they make shitloads of money for it so I can't say I really feel all that sorry for them. They can go and cry to their over-priced therapists or take expensive trips to secluded getaways if they need to de-stress after reading mean Twitter comments. They'll be alright; they'll be fine. Question is, for how long will the record label continue pumping the money into her flops? There is not one single artist on a major label who does not try to have a few hit singles on an album and they will do whatever ie Record with producers they have a good history with or work with younger artists and keep up with trends. There is also not one artist who doesnt do all they can to keep their success going by been ruthless. Her album deal is up with Def Jam, and she has sold close to 20 million albums and 10 million singles/digital and otherwise. These stats are doing the rounds of labels all over US and the reason why she is about to sign to a new deal on a major label. They got paid and she got paid . [Edited 5/19/10 3:16am]
