20 Y.O. > Discipline

Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins is an overrated and generic producer. About 90% of his productions sound the same and suck. A hit and miss.

A majority of Mariah Carey's discography consists of repetitive material -

"I want a man" song, A song about relationship woes, An inspirational song, Several rent-a-rapper songs and a song about losing a man.

Oh and the Emancipation of Mimi isn't a good album. It did as well as it did because it followed Usher's Confession's album format.

Actually you're not. I've heard many MJ fans say this. I completely disagree though. I think Dangerous was great, it's a very underrated album. But I feel that History was his worse album ever. I always hated History and Invincible. After he died, I tried to give both albums another chance. I now see that Invincible isn't as bad as I made it out to be when it came out in 2001, but I still think that History is total garbage. It's just overproduced, overdone garbage.

History was garbage? Little Susie? Stranger in Moscow? Earth song? They don’t care about us? Scream? D.S?

Its all personal preference however if you listen carefully you would know that it was MJ at his peak as a songwriter on the album and the prime example is “stranger in Moscow” which musically butchers any track MJ ever recorded on his entire albums ,the songs MJ offered and wrote by himself on that record are melodic and timeless …..

Little Susie is another great underrated track, many fans may do not like it but I think its one of his best ……you don’t like the album which is your opinion but I think its far far from garbage.

I should've given an exception to Stranger in Moscow. I forgot that it was on that record and yes, it is classic and timeless. It's one of my favorite MJ songs. But the album as a whole I could never get into. I was never that big of a fan of Scream, TDCAU, or Earth Song. *kanyeshrug*

You always have baseless responses. Can you say anything besides "It was a good record"? No, because you don't know what you're talking.

Emancipation of Mimi followed the same format Usher's Confession's album did.

Next time you disagree with something. At least, add something of substance rather than being defensive all the time lol

He took songs and made it his own and didn't give credit...that's stealing but that's nothing new, that was common back in those times, but it wasn't right... lurking

You sound like a broken record. lol

Next time you want to discredit a certain record, give us a real reason why you think that way….Not because it followed another artist ‘s record format rolleyes , that’s one of the dumbest excuses ever…. confused

I said it was good record because it was really good, It has nothing to do with usher’s album.

Pot calling kettle black.

How's that a stupid excuse? LMAO! Confessions was the best selling album in 2004. Its only right that a carbon copy released in 2005 did commercially well, as well.

Just stick to things you know like defending Michael Jackson.
