Tony Thompson was the guy singin lead. Man, from near fatal car wrecks, accidental deaths, drugs, Hi-Five was almost as cursed as the cast of The Little Rascals and the r&b band Heatwave.....

No just Tony. Dude was on drugs! He was only 31/32 year old. [Edited 4/18/10 15:00pm]

From Wiki After Hi-Five disbanded around 1993, Thompson released a solo album, Sexsational, in 1995. He scored a minor hit with "I Wanna Love Like That". In 2005, Thompson re-incarnated Hi-Five with four new members, one of whom was his younger brother, Jordan. Their album The Return was released in 2006 on Thompson's independent label, N'Depth. On June 1, 2007, Tony Thompson died in his hometown of Waco, Texas. An autopsy later revealed that Thompson, who had a history of "huffing", accidentally overdosed on freon.[2][3] **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Always loved this song. It was a definite highlight of the movie. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I know he died in a car accident, but I'm not sure when. I can't recall if it is before or after the 2nd album came out. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
