I've ALWAYS been a strong advocate of Mr.B's music. The man's band gave birth to music royality; Sarah Vaughan, Miles Davis, Dizzy, Charlier Parker, Art Blakey, Dexter Gordon and many more. Oh they worked with other bands before, but they really shined in his. I fell in love beyond hope when I heard his early version of A Cottage For Sale 
This is "younger" Billy when he was with Earl "Fatha" Hines band... And this is one of his many duets with the Divine One herself, Miss Vaughan. [Edited 4/19/10 13:17pm] | |
