I've ALWAYS been a strong advocate of Mr.B's music. The man's band gave birth to music royality; Sarah Vaughan, Miles Davis, Dizzy, Charlier Parker, Art Blakey, Dexter Gordon and many more. Oh they worked with other bands before, but they really shined in his. I fell in love beyond hope when I heard his early version of A Cottage For Sale drool

This is "younger" Billy when he was with Earl "Fatha" Hines band...

And this is one of his many duets with the Divine One herself, Miss Vaughan.

My Grandfather LOVED him!
I have a few 78s that used to belong to him.
(He died in '92)
