Please Help...Need Name Of A Song There is an old song, I believe from the 70's. It's a slow song and the guys in the song announce their names and then their signs.
Does anyone know what song I'm talking about and the title? I'd appreciate it.

Thank you Shorttrini, LoveIsTheMessage and daPrettyman for answering my question and for the video. I couldn't figure out that song for nothing. Kept mixing it up with that World Class Wrecking Crew song.

Float On is such and awesomely sexy song. I first heard this about 10 years ago and have been hooked ever since. I wish they played it more on those oldies radio stations or on XM. Fuck that, I wish I had the record. Those men sounded so sexy especially guy named "Charles"....

Before Sirius and XM merged, they played it on The Groove. When they merged, their programming got to be horrible. I used to love how the programming was broken down on XM. The Groove focused on "grooves"/oldies/dance/uptempo/funk music from the 70-80s with some 90s infused in. They had a show called "Hot Buttered Soul" that was the "quiet storm" show and they played some really good slow jams. Now, they have 60-70s on "Soul Town" (which I preferred it to be 50s-60s with some 70s mixed in); "The Groove" which is 70s and 80s dance and funk, and Heart and Soul which is slow AC music from the 80s and 90s. There is a BIG gap in the formats considering how songs like "Float On" don't get played anymore. I HATE THAT! **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I don't like much of anything they play except the 90s station and the various rap channels. I seriously don't hear this song anymore. I barely hear some Spinners or Tavares. The rap stations vary from pretty cool to all out horrid and I'm so sick of the stations not showing the artist's name and title of the jam.

I, too, have gotten bored with their urban music programming. I have come to love some of the talk stations. SiriusXMStars and Stars 2 are programmed in my XM radio. I love those channels. Some good juicy talk shows are on there. Don't hesitate to go to their website and complain. It really helps and works for them. I complained that I was not hearing any Prince on any of the urban or 80s, or 90s channels and I got an apology and they started adding in his music.
