No-one can beat The Sundays cover of Wild Horses. Subsequent versions have always tried to copy that one.

Nay, I do not understand why Adam needs shut up.

He doesn't need to shut up, that's the point. This is a country where we can voice our opinion. And him being a singer and critiquing another singer is exactly what he's allowed to do. Prince used to say, "Critics aren't musicians. I don't critique what they write. I don't write books. They don't write music." and later said that only musicians should be able to critique other musicians. Here we have a perfect example of that, yet people are still getting their pads in a bunch over it.

Maybe the OP is a hard core Susan Boyle fan. Maybe, for them, Susan Boyle is the end all and be all of the music dream.

Maybe the OP is just bored.

Either way, Adam Lambert spoke his mind. Big deal.

Damn, some of you all need to chill pill.

It's obvious that author of this thread used the opening line "Does Lambert need to shut up?" to build interest in a larger conversation.

Gee, like Bjork sings, "You're trying too hard, undo!"

Well, not a perfect example because you've stated the singers aren't musicians razz

Yet if he plays an instrument, he is a musician, although I don't know if he plays anything at all. Regardless, it's one SINGER talking about another SINGER. So my argument still stands.

He needs to shut the FUCK up. Forever. And 100 years after that.
I don't think he's gay. I think he's just playing the card....

He seems to be talented, decent looking--he could be a decent star. I don't care if he wears makeup or if he's gay.

But somehow it all adds up to something that is totally unappealing to me and, more importantly, the music is uninteresting.

It seems like a bunch of flash, and not nice flash at that. Have some music behind it as good as Bowie, Prince, and who cares how big his head is?

What a Diva!
A stupid man’s report of what a clever man says can never be accurate, because he unconciously translates what he hears into something he can understand.

I don't see why he NEEDS to shut up. He simply gave his opinion about someone's cd. No different than if it were any of us sharing our opinion in an interveiw about how we felt about someone's cd or song. So, he thought her rendition of Wild Horses was funny and her cd horrible. So what! Was he SUPPOSE to say he liked it?
