Dave Hollister twitter announcement

I know some aren't fans of 90's R&B Groups for some reason cause Boyz II Men, 112, Jagged Edge, Next, Blackstreet etc all been dissed on here for some reason add Dru Hill, sometimes New Edition, Jodeci and these are great groups but Dave Hollister confirmed to me on twitter that Blackstreet will be taping the Monique Show May 6th and it should air the next week after. Follow him on twitter.com/dave_hollister also Teddy Riley even though he's hated twitter.com/teddyriley1 Chauncey & new member J-Stylz don't have one. He said he is doin the Blackstreet shows and K. Quinn was a fillin for him but he won't be there he's not a actual Blackstreet member just a fillin if Dave couldn't get is passport situations right when they went oversees since Monique tapes in Atlanta he will be there.

Teddy Riley, Chauncey Black, Dave Hollister, & Sherman "J-Stylz" Tisdale who covers for Mark Middleton now will be there. Oh yeah Mark & Eric have their own group cause they left Blackstreet but Dave said they were cool with him coming back it was money issues with Teddy & Chauncey but Dave wishes they stayed. Also they are not gay Teddy was just pissed in the moment and called them that for acting divaish and making a big deal about Teddy makin the most money but they aren't actually gay he was just pissed.

That's why Teddy was trying to shut Mark & Eric's new group down with J-Remy a singer from Eric's hometown Englewood, NJ I respect everyone's opinions don't get me wrong but some sounds likes straight hate makin me thing Prfnce & Michael Jackson are the only ones who get love which is cool but those groups are good. Plus some said 112 couldn't sing but it was only Slim with a high voice he's not in the 112 reunion their album is comin this year with only Q, Mike, & Daron they have deeper more soulful voices listen to Missing You from their Part III album where Mike & Daron tears that song up.

Slim from 112 sounded like a dying cat. He was too nasal most of the times. As for the other groups you mentioned they're all okay with respectable hit under their belts. Should be interesting to see the outcome of all these groups reuniting at the same time.

Haha Slim's voice is an aquired taste he told me on twitter his money long as a solo artist so he don't wanna do 112 and he don't need them they begged him to do it he said naw but 112 are more respectful to him. Shoutout to Q, MIke, & Daron for holding it down though. Slim still cool but he pissed me off dissing the group that made him on twitter.

Slim had the best voice in 112 IMO. He had a pretty unique tone compared to the others and I liked it, it stood out.

I have heard far too many things about literally every vocalist who's ever worked for/with him being owed money. It's a common theme. Man, Teddy really needs to grow up. No doubt the ignoramus jeami will see that as a racist statement...

Because they are all part of the same lame drum programmed r&b group that have done nothing to enchance their careers or be musically evolved album to album.

Take New Edition off that list as all of their albumssound differewnt than eachother and they have have been making hits since 1983.

New Edition are legends. The other groups are eh. lol

Groups like Blackstreet, Dru Hill and Next were doomed from the start anyway.

Thanks for the info. I'll take your word for it before I believe fools like Mong. That's because you seem like you're a fan of R&B, and you understand it better. All of those groups are great compared to what's out now. R&B is extinct now because bad hip-hop and tacky pop music have taken over.

Yes Mong I'll always complain because I hate it when non-black folks criticize and belittle things that they don't understand and know nothing about, like R&B music/black celebs.

Please don't tell me that you're serious! biggrin I haven't heard from Slim since 112's last album. What exactly is he doing on his own that's making him successful? I like 112, but Slim needs to get a vocal coach before he starts singing again because his voice is too squeeky for me. It will be weird to see 112 without him because he's been there since the beginning, so I hope that he'll change his mind. All of the members can sing, but Daron's voice is my favorite. He was cute too.

I'd like to amend my prior statement about "Slim sounding like a dying cat". I happen to have a cat and I hope that if there is a God in heaven above his death will not be a painful as Slim singing that "Your Letter" song. I love my kitty and would not wish that upon him.

Awww come on. I liked that song. It wasn't that bad. Then again, maybe my ears have been desensitized to Slim's voice because 112 had been around for awhile when that song came out. Slim sounds okay, but I hate it when he tries to riff and adlib because he starts squeaking. I hated it when Wanya and Beyonce did it too. Someone should tell some of these singers that too many riffs and adlibs is overkill.

Well you can't help your extremely racist attitude and seem proud of it. So because I'm white, my opinion isn't valid? You're nothing but a race troll. I happen to know some vocalists who've worked with Teddy so I happen to be better informed on this matter. I also happened to have paid out good money to see Blackstreet live in London a few weeks ago.

Imagine if I came out and said that I hate it when black people comment on white celebs? Jesus...there is a worrying amount of vitriol in your mind.

Haha these comments are crazy but yes it's true Slim has backed out of the 112 reunion his solo album Love's Crazy with songs So Fly & Good Lovin were the singles he's working on album 2 Cruise Control and the other 3 are doin the reunion. Slim is alright I can tolerate his voice he jsut sings high an ex-member of 112 when they were Forte said himself on a blog that when they addes Slim is because he was very gifted with his high register his name was Reginald Finley but left them beofre Diddy discovered them outside of Club 112 and changed Forte to 112. He left because he was drafted into the military. He was the fifth member he has a youtube blog singing 112 hits he sounds like 112 I guess when you are around guys they trained their vocals to sound similar except Slim & another member who did bass he couldn't keep up with harmonies his name is Aldon Lagon so he was put out of 112 by them cause Daron said he would have messed the sound up. 112 was originally a six man group most of them met in middle school & high school Q joined them when they got to high school he was the last member. The members in order were Daron, Mike, Reginald, Aldon, Marvin (Slim), & Q then Aldon was put out then Reginald left after their managers Kevin Wales & Courtney Sills who were good friends with Sean "Puffy" Combs heard them singing in a talent show. Kevin called Puffy and told him about five teenagers who can sing and set up a audition that night with Puff at Club 112. Reginald was called to the military before the audtion so quit so it became the well known lineup of Q, Mike, Slim, & Daron and they was too young to get in the club after a second audition for Puff while Faith Evans, Biggie, & Total where there around 94 or 95 he changed their name to 112 because that's the place they met them then Biggie started saying Room 112 where the player's dwell. So Puff thought it was good for Big to say on 112's Only You so when Big died 112 made the decision to name their second album Room 112 in dedication to Biggie.

Sorry for the history lesson about 112 I'm letting you know Slim didn't make 112 he became a singer only after Daron & Mike heard him singing to girls in their high school hallway they been around each other since middle school but only Daron, Mike, Reginald, & Aldon were a group Slim became the fifth member of Forte. He almost quit then because he felt he was the best. Slim started missing talent shows and they wouldn't put 112 on until Slim showed up cause in high school everyone liked his high voice. it was his mother telling Slim to hold out and tried to use her Slim to jerk the others around so they got Q as Slim's possible replacement after Slim's mom who's a pastor in Atlanta saw this move she stopped jerking the others around and begged them to keep Slim. They told Slim it wasn't his fault and let him in so they had six members the show were they auditioned for Kevin Walers Slim didn't show up which is why they had Q it was Mike, Daron, Q, & Reginald at the audtion. Aldon was already let go. Reginald had to be called into the military and Slim showed back up and Kevin & Courtney still liked them with Slim and hooked them up with Puffy and the rest is history.

Don't worry honey. I'm pretty sure that nobody believes the laughable notion that Slim made 112. I can't believe his triflin Mama is a pastor. She needs to change careers. I bet you that Slim is a Mama's Boy to the 10th power. Now, can you please let me know exactly what has he done on his own that has made him successful? Does he make his money by touring overseas or is he putting the cart before the horse?

Haha I heard she was good she just knew her son was gonna be a star her name is Rose Scandrick Slim who's real name is Marvin Scandrick III and his father Marvin Scandrick, Jr. sang in his mom's church choir then the other members of 112 joined the choir.
