Boyz II Men 20th Anniversary Cruise Boyz II Men members Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman, & Wanya Morris announced they will be doing a Boyz II Men Cruise for their 20th Anniversary with dinner with the group performances and if couples wanna have dinner or get married on the cruise they will sing for you. It will be Valentine's Day 2011 and the new album is comin it's a regular album not a cover album they are done with those now. Michael McCary was due to make his return to the group but he wanted more money to come back. Nate, Shawn, & Wanya wanted to pay him what they were being paid but he wanted much much more and when I say more Michael wanted billions. He said if he made just thousands and millions he didn't wanna do it so he declined Nate, Shawn, & Wanya released a statement saying they wanted him back but he wanted too much money. They say his back isn't bothering him no more cause he hasn't been on the road since 2002-2003 with them he's working on a solo album which will be similar to how Barry White does his music he will sing with his bass voice on a solo album and kept asking since 2007 when he entertained the idea of going back to Boyz II Men for billions of dollars but he decided that he's not gonna go back since they only willing to pay millions cause Nate, Shawn, & Wanya are making millions but Michael felt he was entitled to more. They said they are not bashing Michael and love him like a brother but they have to move on and said he couldn't compromise. They said all four had a meeting and Michael kept shaking his head no to what they were offering and had his own attorneys separate from Boyz II Men's managers and attorneys it's sad though.

These cats seem like they have their own drama with Nathan
sparring with the other group members much like Teddy Riley does with all 56 of his current and ex groupmates. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

What? It's money. You have to diversify and find niche markets to get dough if you're not in the top 100 music charts. ..and it's no different than being a performer on Tom Joyer's yearly cruise to raise money for HBCUs; he gets stars big and not so big to perform and it seems kinda fun. I'd rather see them do this than become a straight up gala band, which by the way, is a pretty decent living as well for musicians although without superstar perks...just straight hard cold cash for 4 hours of your time. BoysIIMen are old ass grown folks now with mortages to pay, studios to maintain, and kids to feed. They can either do this gig to put coins in the bank (and at least be actively singing)...or they can take UPS delivery jobs averaging at $78,000 per year, but considering the kind of overhead they must have that might not be enough... ...I'm rooting for the cruise and hope to high hell they will sing the shit out of "I'll Make Love To You" for someone's engagement party. If you can't be on Billboard that's no reason to not sing for your supper. The show must go on.

Sounds great, those guys had amazing voices, End of the road still gives me goosepimples. I wonder if they still have the voices. The Fresh Prince appearance was funny too, where Will disses Nathan and goes "Yeah stole that honey off some big lipped, four eyed dude" and Nathan goes "I cried myself to sleep over that girl, memorise his face, because he ain't ever coming back" [Edited 4/14/10 2:20am] So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

Shame on Michael McCary for demanding more money than what the other members are getting paid He needs to look at a calendar and realize that this ain't 1994 anymore. The guys aren't nearly as popular as they were back then.Furthermore, why should HE get more money anyway? It's a group effort, they all sing.

If you can make the same amount of money in the same span of time, be able to sing to adoring fans and get your sundeck activity on with exotic ports of call???? Nah, I'm still rooting for the cruise. Plus the set up for filling the rider demands in the performance contract is ideal: guaranteed lux accomodations with great catering and great dressing rooms, a well behaved crowd that you can tailor your songs to...dude they're old and they found a niche market, let them make some bank off of it!

Hell they are already singing at recreational parks. They did it in my hometown in 2004. Talk about a big downgrade AND they're feuding. Anyway, another group that had potential to be the Tempts or the Four Tops and they're at the same predicament as the other '90s groups. Yeah they're legends but damn if this is what they're gonna do for the rest of their careers, I feel pity. I know it gives them money but damn man.

Come on they just thinking of things they could do for their fans they are always in it for music that's why they still doin it. They could have quit when folks started not paying attention or calling them played out but they still have millions of fans cleary it's no object to money but it was for Michael. So they can't help it if Michael doesn't wanna come back much like Slim not wanting to go back to 112 or Mark & Eric quitting Blackstreet they can't help it. Nathan has love for Michael and Marc Nelson left because Shawn & Wanya didn't want him cause they always argued with him. Marc was tight with Nathan, Michael, & Wanya. But Shawn & Marc didn't get along Wanya finally saw why Marc got under Shawn's skin and told Nathan they would leave the group right before they signed with Michael Bivins & Motown if Marc stayed. Nathan didn't kick him out. Marc felt the conflicts were too much and left cause Shawn & Wanya didn't want him so he went solo but if he stayed Boyz II Men probably would have broken up. Yes Michael originally left due to back problems in 2003 but he's good now it's all about money for him now so he's goin solo.

Could've been greater. Believe me I'm not knocking on them to get money, it's just that to go from performing in arenas all over the world to doing cruises. I guess that's the fallout when no one really cares to promote your music anymore. [Edited 4/14/10 13:09pm]

When boy bands/groups died, BIIM died with them. Sure, the bickering went on, but BIIM has released several cds over the last few years. 3 of them have been cover cds, though. I hate that, but if that's what works for them. On their new covers album, "Love", they remade "I Can't Make You Love Me" and it is pretty good. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

The last original album I remember them doing was "The Remedy". It didn't get issued in the states, but was a very good album. It reminded me of their debut album. Good original songs. 1. Muzak 2. Gonna Have 3. Here I Come 4. Perfect Love Song 5. Misunderstanding 6. Booed Up 7. You Don't Love Me 8. Last Time 9. Just Like Me 10. Crush on U 11. Ego 12. Morning Love 13. Muzak Feat. Atsushi (Exile) [Edited 4/14/10 16:19pm] **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
