Marvin Gaye and the different versions of "Just to Keep You Satisfied" (GENIUS!)

Here I present to you the metamorphosis of one of Marvin Gaye's greatest tracks, "Just to Keep You Satisfied":

The Monitors:

The Originals (ft. Marvin):

Marvin's:

From matrimony to sexual healing to heartbreak...

You know Timmy, you're right. The same song, sounds like a different sound in different situations. I never realized or fully appreciated the genius of Marvin, until years later.

Yep and if you listen closely to the music of the first one, he used the same music for the original version of "God is Love", he just changed the lyrics. smile
