Whitney Houston Live in Dublin 2010...a pleasant surprise

never been a huge fan, but went to see her tonight with a friend and she proved she still has got it. From reading blogs etc I was expecting her to fall off the stage or something

Yes, a few notes were shaky and her voice has got more husky, but she received a standing ovation and it was 100% live....no lip-syncing like most other singers performing these days...i really feel people were deliberately posting bad parts of her show on youtube out of spite...
look what the woman has been through...she is a legend !

maybe now mj is gone, the media need another artist to destroy... sad
Just goes to show, don't believe everything you read biggrin

She's destroyed herself. The videos that have been posted from the recent dates shows she's lost a lot of her stamina and strength in her voice. She cannot hold or hit the notes in "I Will Always Love You" anymore.

that's probably because the only videos posted are the ones that she sounds awful on.

Glad you had a great night. Was adorable how she let that little girl sing GLOA.
Am going to see her in Newcastle on thursday; can't wait!
