I encourage folks to post here some clips from local bands that are buzz-worthy or are popular where you live but have yet to crossover to other areas of your country or other countries/bigger markets.
The band I want to give props to is the indie rock band Dikta from Reykjavik, Iceland.



They had released two albums, one of which (Hunting For Happiness from 2005) was named one of the top 100 albums of Icelandic music history, but their true breakthrough was with their 2009 album Get It Together.
I'll post here the biggest two hits from that album, one of which has been topping the Icelandic charts for several weeks now.

I think this band has some potential outside of Iceland - it's probably just a matter of time. What's your take on it?

Are there bands in your area destined for big things? If so, please post something with them.. I want to learn about music from other regions that isn't currently topping the charts in the US and UK - and it doesn't matter if they are in other languages than English.

there is a band called Crashmouse but can't find them on myspace anymore. They are from Australia.
