I still love her, but I'm not going out of my way to record them anymore, cause she clearly sucks at them and oprah was the final nail in the coffin. I will always love her, but am going to stick to the movies and music or else she'll continue to piss me off. I'm still a big fan don't get me wrong, but last week I was crying for not just michael, but her.

What? I feel like she let oprah step all over her, interviews are her weak point, and I don't know why she had to say the stuff about michael she did and insist on the intervention crap. And I don't want to be told it's denial and shit either, the autopsy proved otherwise and family don't do that to each other. But in response to what you were saying, she didn't want to mix business and pleasure and still did it. She's always talking about being in a new space and being happy and then finds herself repeating the same mistakes over and over. I know she's just human but maybe I see her differently, that's all.

Oprah is very to the point and has a condescending quality.. I think she should've made it a point that Oprah needs to stop with all the MJ question. It looked like she got a little too comfortable and kept going and going. Which I felt was disrespectful but knowing Janet she won't say anything. She's really passive and humble. The autopsy only proved that he died from propofol intoxication because truth be told; that's what he died from. That still doesn't mean he didn't have an issue. I don't know what you meant by "Family don't do that to each other" but I'm glad Janet didn't lie.

Yeah I agree with you about Oprah, and on Janet being passive, but people like that get fried by bigger fish. I didn't know what to make of it at first and was giving Janet a pass saying exactly like you while MJ fans were going crazy bashing her (I'm a huge fan of both) but it got a little bit harder when looking back at all the things being said. Yes he had a past problem, nobody has denied that, but Janet was not clear at all and left room for speculation and he did not need that while Murray was about to go to court again few days later. And Murray doing what he did to him had nothing to do with any addiction. I don't understand the comparison to her ex husbands either, totally different scenarios. I even tried to say she is family she knows more, but I really think she is having an issue with the death and it's impacting how she acts in public about it, and I feel for her, I just don't think it's right if it makes mj look worse, as if he's on trial all over again!
By the way, I can so relate to Velvet Rope these days all over again [Edited 4/11/10 18:57pm]

Well, maybe he wasn't this morally good person that many of his fans make him out to be. He had issues like every other human being. I understand the comparison between her ex-husbands and MJ. They had drug issues and she had to deal with the pain of seeing them deteriorate the same way she saw MJ. I don't think she has to be clear about anything. It's nobody's business but the families. I think many of his fans feel like they're family when in reality MJ didn't even know them individually.

A lot of fans are intelligent people and have not denied his problems or his brush with past addiction. Intervention could be for anything, it could have been them telling him to get off pain meds for lupus or anti depressants to go on tour with them, no different from things people do everyday, except because it's mj, it's a big deal. Most of us know he's not perfect, I hate when mj fans are portrayed as so crazy in the media.
