I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOVE love JANET JACKSON'S VOICE. its so soothing. She doesn't have a huge range. But her tone is so amazing. And she actually sounds like her records.

What's a huge range?

A VOICE RANGE. DUuuuuah. Im talking about her singing so its obvious.

Some people like the 20yo era. It's not my favorite, but it wasn't that bad.

I'm aware of that. The era wasn't really bad compared to the Discipline era.

No way. NOTHING is shittier than the 20 YO era.

This picture pretty much sums up what that whole era was about. neutral

I agree, unless there's a big comeback hit ala Cher's Believe or Tina's What's Love Got to Do with it, but that doesn't happen that often.

she should just hook up with jimmy and terry only and make music she enjoys and most importantly, write her own lyrics. she'll be fine then.

20 YO era wasn't that bad. Yea, she was pushed to be some Urban princess and it failed. But she had a hit on the Urban charts. It was her biggest hit in years. Discipline was just depressing across the board. The only memorable thing was the tour. It was amazing everything else was depressing.

Actually, in talking with people IRL, most know and like the song "Feedback" more than any other song since the AFY era.

"Feedback" peaked at No. 19 on the pop chart last I checked. It wasn't even that big on the R&B chart for some reason.

Janet is a pop star. The main reason why 20 Y.O. and Discipline did horribly is because its not pop nor does it have crossover appeal. Urban music isn't her forte. I think "Feedback" could've done better.

I always look forward to her music and though I was whining all throughout 20 YO, I have to be in the mood for that album, cause sometimes I'm feeling it and other times I'm not. Last night I was into it. My top 5 on there are call on me, daybreak, enjoy, take care and so excited
