Damn, that article made me cry like a baby..... Damn you people! Just when I thought I was dealing with it... It really hurts.... it hurts so much... I'm new to this forum and I was pleasantly surprised to find an MJ thread. Lol! You see I might like Prince but man I LOVE Mike! I grew up with the man's music and honestly, he was the soundtrack of my life. My mama used to play Maybe Tomorrow to me as a lullaby when I was a kid. I have soooo many memories of him. I guess that's the reason why I feel more towards him than Prince even though I like both of their music. Also the fact that Mike is really nice might be a factor too. I'm still really missing michael. I watched that naacp clip posted and burst into tears again when I saw how happy katherine looked back then and then hearing what mj had to say and how beautiful he was. I'm so glad he's being discussed in a positive light

John Mayer - "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" His performance of "Human Nature" was my favorite last July, and this is just as amazing. More simple though. Love it.

I recently bought BassPlayer magazine which had a great article with all of Michael's bass players and in depth chat with Al. One photo showed the setlist as it stood 6 days before Michael's passing.
This Is It Setlist 19.06.09 Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' Jam Drill They Don't Care About Us Human Nature The Way You Make Me Feel J5 Medley - I Want You Back / The Love You Save / I'll Be There Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough / Shake Your Body Down Rock With You I Just Can't Stop Loving You Dangerous Black or White Dirty Diana Beat It --- intermission --- Thriller Earth Song We Are The World / Heal The World Billie Jean ---- encore --- Man In The Mirror Next to it was a hand scrawled note that included other songs not in the official setlist, they included Off The Wall, Stranger In Moscow, Will You Be There, Who Is It. In the article he talks about how the band started learning 50 songs - then they narrowed it down to 25 to focus on. Not sure if this was fan-made, or a rare demo, but either way, simply amazing for the ears. I love Janet's vocals on the song, but hearing Michael sing her part is amazing. Love this!

One step closer to having HIStory: Special Edition It's pretty much the solo version before Janet recorded her verse. He performed this version during HIStory tour I love it. I've been wanting this since I was like 11 years old. Some of the fans older then me talk of "Off The Wall" being their albums that contained so many memories of childhood, for me those were, "Dangerous" "HIStory." Sure, later eventually I appreciated "Off The Wall" but, I'm sitting here listening to this version and just being flooded with so many fun memories. I remember watching the Prime Time Live interview in 95, with it being recorded on our VCR upstairs, and watching it downstairs with my family, seeing previews for "Batman Forever" and thinking how important both those "people" were to my childhood. MJ and Batman. One of these days, I'll post a photo of my home-made Michael Jackson "action-figure." It was this action figure from some cartoon/comic book and he had long blonde hair in a pony tail, circa, "Billie Jean Live", anyway, his hair was blonde, my mom helped me color his hair entirely black and he became MJ just like that. Then after playing "Moonwalker" - I was convinced Michael was over-the-top the best hero of all. MJ Fan 1992-Forever

Just look how similar he looks with all that alleged plastic surgery two decades afterwards.
