Maybe it was brought up ONCE but there was never any confirmation that she was pregnant and her family keeps denying that ever happened.

I can go to Google Books, look up JET issues between 1984 and 1986. If I don't see any mention of her "pregnancy", then ask yourself how did someone manage to find an issue that mentioned this?

Its saying Janet responded to a published report stating she left Fame because she was pregnant. Janet corrected the publication by saying she left Fame because she wants to focus on music.
