I dig his albums but this cat is one of worst live performers out there.
I would not pay $ 2 see him sing in my back yard.

He's highly overrated.

Basically, his timing was good, as he seemed 2 combine the vocal styles of Eric Benet and Maxwell, and was released at a time when neither they, nor D'Angelo, had anything out.

So he swept up some of that "market", if U will.

Decent singer, but nowhere near Eric Benet nor Maxwell.

The best thing about Thicke is his WIFE.

Would you spend $20 on a better fence to keep him out of your backyard?

I like him.

I find it odd that people keep saying he's imitating Justin Timberlake though, considering fact of the matter is he is older and is a former songwriter and producer for Justin's solo work. If anything I would see it as the other way around.

Truthfully he probably gets more of a pass from me because I adore his mom Gloria Loring; she played Liz Chandler on Days of Our Lives when I was a kid...luuved hurh! touched, and she wrote the themes to Facts of Life and Different Strokes, and she used to sing the hell out of all those cheesy 80's love ballads like Friends and Lovers.Long Live Liz Chandler, dammit woot!

She sang...Robin's dad, Alan Thicke wrote them (although she might have co-written one of them.)

I'm not a fan but I like him casually from far. He reminds me nothing of justin timberlake, only cause he's white? LOL His falsetto reminds me of Prince, Maxwell and MJ. Magic Touch, Lost Without You and some song he did a month or two ago with some girl from a TV show are his songs I like.

I adore him but I hate his last album aside from the single Sex Therapy.
