lol lol

But on a serious note.. I really do feel badly for Michael Jackson.

The thing is though.. it's not like we all couldn't see it coming.

I don't mean any disrespect. I just think it's sad.

All kidding and/or insults aside, I'm gonna respond to this as honestly as I can, and I don't care if you think I'm a hater or not. It makes no difference to me one way or another.

I just think Michael Jackson.. from what I've observed-- has been on a downward spiral for what at least a decade--maybe longer. It just seems to me the family would get all defensive when people criticized MJ basically saying he was just eccentric when all along it's apparent they knew he had more serious, life-threatening "issues."

Now that he's dead Janet and the rest are all like, "We tried to help him... blah, blah, blah." What they tried to help him the past couple of years? Where were they before that?

It's true; the bottom line is he was a grown-ass man, so maybe there really wasn't much they could do. But to get all defensive while apparently enabling him in certain situations, but now saying how much they tried to help him is a little suspect and convenient after he's dead.

I'm sure Janet loved her bro. And she may have tried to "help" him. In fact, maybe she was the only one who really did try to help him. But... his free-fall has been going-on for quite some time. It just didn't suddenly happen with this doctor. This doctor just caused his death, but I have a feeling there were others propping-up MJ, knowing damn good and well the guy had some pretty significant MENTAL problems with depression at the very least--or he wouldn't have been an addict in the first place.

But the family--including but not limited to Janet seemed too proud to admit it.. too afraid of what it might do to his legacy perhaps--the great King of Pop? Everybody expressing any concern or criticism was being unfair to MJ--not understanding him according to them. Hmmm.. well it seems there WAS really something wrong after all, or he wouldn't be dead. So it wasn't about just "hatin'-on" Michael and the Jackson family.

So that's why to me-- just an outside observer more than a fan or hater, it all seems weird, and she doesn't come across as particular genuine.

I do think it's sad he died. He was a great talent. I really liked his music, particularly his early stuff.

And I repeat, her acting skills need some work!

or it could be now that the man is dead they would look very silly (well except to the mj fans) if they all still pretended like there was no problem.

Well apparently someone likes his movies. They continue to come in number one at the box office and making millions still. All his movies have messages whether they have the same formula or not doesn't matter.

You don't like them U can save your dollars and don't see them.He has a built in audience for them.

Tyler built his audience through his plays. That is why he continues to do stage plays. He was smart enough to do these plays in every major city in the states, then release the plays on dvd. By the time he started making movies, he had his audience.

I'm not a huge fan of his stuff. To me, it's all generic. I''m not hating on him, he just does not appeal to me.

I'm glad he has been successful, but wish he would change his writing style just a tad (No I haven't seen WDIGM2).

Yeah! his audience comes from his plays. So he will always have a build in audience for his movies. Which is very smart whether U like him or not. U can't deny his good business sense. He uses his same formula he uses for his plays in his movies. Which explains why they seem to have similar plots and storyline s. Just like his plays. But that is what makes him rich & successful. He is a genius for that.

But this thread is about the beautiful Janet not Tyler. So enough on this successful billionaire.

Very emotional, very nice interview. Thank you, Janet, for the good movies, even thought they come once every blue moon, and thank you for that beautiful smile. Looking forward to see the movie this weekend.

I thought she actually was the best actress int he movie. It had it hits and misses..it still was good though in my opinion. I think this has really become his "soap opera" movie. As this is his first sequal.

Exactly! The way the stories enter-twined with each other. It was like a soap opera. Janet's scenes were very emotional. I just didn't like the ending. Tyler should have kept the funeral scene in it. Maybe it will be in the DVD version

The birthday cake scene followed by Gavin's accident was ridiculous. How's a woman who's in a 14 year relationship that's crumbling down, going to pull a stunt like that after what happened at the house? whofarted That fuckery made no damn sense. I think Janet has a lot of potential, she just needs to find a better director.
