It's a quick rush.....it hits you FAST.... The first 5 seconds of: Knee Deep Slide Fantastic Voyage More Bounce Head Pick Up the Pieces Thank You Funky Drummer Glide Flashlight Etc... My hand actually feels "magnetically & immediately" pulled to the volume.....gotta have decibels IMMEDIATELY. Definitely my favorite funk song of all time. I think it is perfect. Co-Sign I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Let's see.. some of his old tunes are pretty funk.. Lady Cab Driver.. But there is this one.. oh man.. Imma gonna have to find it. And I wanted to think of a Michael Jackson song out of respect. I really love that Got Me Working Day and Night, but I don't think it's a funk song. Ok.. How about Give It Away by the Peppers? And then I was thinking about George Clinton and George Duke? And how about Brickhouse? [Edited 4/3/10 18:52pm]

Obviously Clinton's more funkier than Duke though "Dukey Stick" and "Reach for It" are up there in the funk department. Oh and "Brickhouse" is definitely F.U.N.K.Y.

Mother Popcorn Dayum! I don't believe I ever saw this clip of James Brown before. As famous as he was, and as parodied as he was, particularly in later life... JAMES BROWN WAS HOT! Look at this young man go! LOL. James Brown was on fire, lol.

do you do the lower or higher part? i love doing the lower part when i sing along and i love having the option. i also like n.w.a.'s "i'd rather fuck you" regarding the funkiest song i'd say "aqua boogie" or "let's play house".
