Becuz u have no sense of objectivity when it comes to ur gurl. U come at anyone who proves that wut u say about her is wrong.

U dont like Usher mainly becuz he's currently the one who is keeping J&L in the spotlight. He proves that J&L can stay on top with or without Janet. U wanna say they were nothin without her. What is she without them, huh? lol

Ur opinions on JT r irrelivant as well. U just mad about the SB incident, so its obv u'll hate on him for any stupid excuse. biggrin

Wrong. I'm just calling it like I see it- Usher IS a chop that doesn't have his own style. It has nothing to do with J&L. Both Usher and JT are little MJ carbon copies. These are facts. It has nothing to do with Janet but nice try hug

and I only worship myself, sis. I love Janet like she gave birth to me but I don't worship. Its too bad you think I do. KI! at you defending Usher confused lol

Usher is a better singer than Janet. He is also a better dancer. They both bite off the same dude (MJ). Neither of them r real songwriters.

My defendin Usher is no sillier than u defendin Janet. biggrin

OK, i'm done wit u now. bored

No, he's not. Janet is a better singer and dancer. I will never understand why you try it with Janet lmfao Janet never bit off MJ. Leave that to Miss Usher.

No, its silly. Usher is just some mainstream shit that never did anything groundbreaking. Deal.

You look a fool, sis.

I really listened to this album this weekend. I still don't think it's great, but much better than the last effort.

I like "There Goes My Baby" and "Lil Freak", but from what I'm hearing from others about this cd, he really needs his mother's input again.

I bashed the album in the beginning. I still don't think it's a masterpiece, but I think it's decent.

Typical responses from MJ fans who have hated on Usher for years. There Goes My Baby is the Jam and the difference is he actually means it. Unlike MJ who has these love songs but has never even been in a real relationship with a women and meant it. Lisa Marie was a cover up because of 1993.

Usher has been in real relationships, lived with the women, woke up next to her, intimate with her, etc etc. A real, normal relationship so when he sings about a girl you know he means it. MJ's love jams i doubt he has ever even experienced with the words of ROCK WITH U or LADY IN MY LIFE or SHE'S OUT OF MY LIFE, or BREAK OF DAWN...

Just lyrics and songs to sell just like Ricky Martin.

For Real, There is no comparison in the first place, not only Usher's voice is so annoying but his songs are Lifeless.

I don't have anything against Usher, the guys has always had tremendous respect for MJ , but lets not compare the Two, MJ is in league on his own.

I think you can make a argument in the USA other than Thriller which was blockbuster at the time, Usher is right there with MJ. Mj's prime was 1979-1993 in the USA while Usher 1997-2010 so far which is 13 years. I think 8701 and the Confessions album musically are better than MJ's music outside of Off The Wall and Thriller which were ages ago. Basiclally MJ's legacy came from 2 albums from 25 to 30 years ago.

As far as sales, Confessions sold like 9 million in the USA alone. Put that album in the year 1991 and it easily sales 15 + million in the US befoe music downloading and the internet. It would have destroyed Dangerous in sales which sold 7 million in the USA.

Keep in mind MC Hammer 2 Legit to Quit sold 12 million in the USA back in 1990. So yea if Confessions came out during that time. 15 million + easy in the USA alone.

Okay but Usher or MC Hammer never recorded Thriller.
They never had the biggest selling album of all time.
They never performed at Motown 25 and become an icon with one performance.
What are Usher and MC Hammer remembered for? Usher is remembered for
the same thing D'Angelo was in his prime..an average singer, who looked
good to some with his shirt off. MC Hammer..well..he is remembered as a joke.

We can play the "What if" game, but the fact is
Usher can't draw the numbers MJ did in his "prime."
And if you wanna play the "what if" game, there are some
people who calculated that had Dangerous been allowed to release
the singles that were planned to have videos (Dangerous/Keep The Faith)
plus had the Dangerous tour came to America, it would have outsold
Thriller. So we can play the "What if" game all day, but the facts
are the facts. Michael is in the hall of fame twice. Usher = zero.
MC Hammer = zero. And I doubt either will ever be.

Oh and where in the above equation of Michael's prime does
The Jackson 5 stuff figure in and his early Motown days? lol

You wanna compare Usher to someone, and see him come out on top,
that is fine..compare him to an equal...Mario, or the guys from B2K
or even previously mentioned D'Angelo, but please Usher ain't got
nothin on Mike beyond worshipping him and stealing his style, his moves,
and trying to be like him, but failing.

Can't compare Usher to D"Angelo because Usher has been around since 1994 and has had several successful albums. He's proven his consistency in the music business. My point was sales in the 90s and early 90s was much higher because there was no internet, downloading of music, etc. You had no choice but to buy the album. Now days you can simply go to youtube and hear a entire album. Usher's whole album was on youtube a month before it came out. There Goes My Baby was on there 2 months ago.

Please stop with the stealing moves stuff. MJ has never done choreography like Usher's CAUGHT UP video which is more street, relates to clubs and Hip Hop. MJ's style choreography is more classical dancing and the same moves over and over. Nothing new since 1983

Omarion or the guys from B2K. LOL....Your kidding right. Are you aware Usher's My Way album was in 1997. 8701 with the hit single U Got It Bad was 2000/2001, Confessions 2003/2004 and now its 2010. Fact is MJ had 2 great albums and that was over 25 years ago.

Dangerous, History, Bad, Inivncible are all mediocre albums. To me Teddy Rileys worse work was on Dangerous and his best was with Guy.

Maybe I'm missing something here...but I never jumped on the Confessions band wagon.. I actually felt 8701 was a stronger album. Confessions to me was pretty much driven because of the "drama" that surrounded Usher at that time. I couldn't go anywhere without someone talking about the song lyrics which folks believed were about his relationship with Chilli. I heard more about the rumors behind the album than the actual music itself. The track "Yeah" pretty much was a success due to the whole Lil Jon & Crunk trend back then...because seriously you're not hearing now in 2010 how amazing that song is, right? It was cool for that moment. Can we consider any of those songs classics.. or timeless music which will stand the test of time?

And despite how "medicore" you feel Michael Jackson later material was...he still pulled out some classics on those albums that is still gonna be played even when we leave this earth.,And I love Usher too..but can we even say the same for him?

I think some forget that Michael's career didn't start with him being a solo artist. Dude was performing before he was even 10. He was a legend and star performer way before he even did "Off The Wall"...everything later just made him one of the biggest stars on the planet. He managed to stay relevent in the music industry for 4 decades..that's gotta say a lot.. lol
