No it confirms that he's mainly yesterday's news, if not to the "R&B" community, to people in the ORG. lol Hell I forget the name of his latest single, don't care to look up the name. smile

fuck the vocals, that fucking dancing was the shit!!
he should do more choreography like that and back it up with proper songs.

He seems to be picking the wrong songs.

He has the potential to do something really special, but it seems he's happy to stick with the 808 beats and hip hop beats rather than do something different.

Still, I don't mind the song actually. Its more catchy than his other stuff.

Um, WTF r u talkin about?

Usher's album is about to open with 350k
Justin Beiber's album opened with 280k.

Usher has been in the game for 15 years. Beiber is a new cat catering to the tweeny boppers. It gets harder and harder to stay on top as time goes by. Consistency is somethin that should be applauded, and regardless of your opinions about his music, yall need to give Usher his props.

While the dancing was OK, the vocals are just awful, especially with that annoying auto-tune effect. The song is very generic, almost like someone used some automated software - something like a "Shit-hop maker v.2010".
And Will.I.Am didn't do anything for the song, except MUMBLING with the Auto-tune on. disbelief

I have a feeling that a record exec picked that horrible song.

That song and performance was horrible. I thought the choreography as was the song.

His debut album dropped in 1994.

I agree.

I like his voice still, but can't take much more of him doing this trendy stuff. I need just some traditional club hits and good bedroom ballads.

Trey Songz is weak as hell. I only liked his first album, then the moment he tried to bad mouth R Kelly, I ignored his existence.

But, the album is selling. And I guess that's all that really matters at the end of the day. An artist can record great songs and sing like an angel but if people aren't buying the CD, then it doesn't matter. The music industry stopped caring about quality and substance years ago. Stupid crap sells. It's all about the almight dollar. mad

Dunno about the album, but I'm sick of seeing him perform the SAME DAMN DANCE MOVES in every single video and every single TV performance.

You know the one, where he stands in the middle front of some backup dancers and does some wide-legged stances and slow-motion arm movements. Seriously.

Well, MJ used to do that too and he is one of Usher's influnces, so there you go.
