the day I bought the "mecca and the soul brother" cassette in '92, i sat on the couch w/a 40 oz. and bobbed my head 4 an hour n a half straight n did not move off that couch!!!! i still get that feeling today as i play it!!!!!
now that's what u call a classic!!!!!

I was only about 6 or 7 when this came out but I do remember hearing it playing on the radio and such. I need to see if I can get this album off Amazon and spark more memories. nod

the follow up album album "the main ingredient" is one of the greatest albums in hiphop history in terms of production. pete rock really blacked-out on that one.
