Three of the most underrated funksters.
I know You Got Another, Hand Dance, Erotic Groove, The Awakening (the one Les Claypool was trying to pass off as his own work for a minute) - all great pieces of funk. [Edited 3/31/10 0:50am] | |

Can't say enough good about these guys.
The run they had with those first 4 albums (80-85).....just PACKED with jams. Dexter was (is) a hellion on bass.....shame on Les for apin him (and it was for longer than a second, Blaque..ha) 85's "If Looks Could Kill" has some Larry Blackmon production, as well. The 12's were awesome consistently.....The Reddings don't get mentioned enough in funk circles, IMO. Worthy of their Dad's name & legend in their own right. Funk Is It's Own Reward | |
