Favourite mashups There's especially two I'm digging at the moment...
The first one I kinda rediscovered few days ago.. While not technically a mash-up, it does feature the lyrics and melody of Chaka's "Ain't Nobody" with the bassline and some other stuff from Human League's "Being Boiled": The second one I heard for the first time today... This is a true mash-up, and kinda unique I must say.. It has rap verses with Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z (don't know from which songs - if you know please post them) and two versions mixed together of a song ("Þú komst við hjartað í mér" - translates as "You touched my heart") that was the most popular song in Iceland in 2007 - the original by gay icon Paul Oscar and a cover by the indie band Hjaltalín:

This is one of my favorite mashups. As a DJ, I have actually done this live, myself, using the a cappella. It is a DJ's dream.

There's an excellent mashup of Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams" and Depeche Mode "Policy of Truth". You'd swear it was an original song.
Also, there's a great mix of "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor and "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor on www.djlobsterdust.com They have a lot of good (and a few stinker) mashups on there. I also have one of The Jacksons "Can You Feel It" and Missy's "Lick Shots" One of the first I ever got was Q-Tip "Breathe and Stop" and MJ's "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough".
