The whole album is actually pretty good. Takes me back to my early Navy days in Philadelphia.

Diamonds and Making Love In The Rain are classics. That whole album is hot though. Its a shame Lisa Keith (I think that was her name) didn't have great success with her solo attempt. She sounded great on Making Love.....

In 1993 she released her solo debut album "Walkin' in the Sun" on Perspective Records; which featured production from Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Narada Michael Walden and Lisa's husband Spencer Bernard. The first single "Better Than You" peaked at #36 on Billboard's Hot 100 while the follow-up single "I'm in Love" reached #84.
Lisa Keith's name is credited on several albums throughout the 80's and 90's. She is well-knowned for her background vocals being featured on work by Janet Jackson, Alexander O'Neal, Karyn White, New Edition, S.O.S.-Band and other acts produced by mega music producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis (as well as lead vocals on the chorus of MC Lyte's 1993 single "Ice Cream Dream"). In the late 80's she also fronted a live Minneapolis Funk band called Rocket (whose members also included respected producer/session musician Shaun Labelle and drummer John "Bam Bam" Morgan). In addition to working as a backing vocalist, Lisa has also co-written several songs for other artists; such as New Edition's "Crucial" and Nona Hendryx's "Why Should I Cry".

I adored her BGV's on this one right here. I don't know what it is about it but I've always loved her vocals on this. She just made the hook more memorable to me. Thanks for the update Ernest. [Edited 3/30/10 7:14am]

I didn't know she went back as far as the SOS Band days. Damn, she was there from the beginning of Flyte Tyme.
