OMG! Dave has not aged well compared to that opening shot. Paul had no hair even 18 years ago.
Anyone catch the name of the sax soloist? Sounded like James called him out Maceo style but I couldn't hear him clearly. (I know it's not Maceo).

You know I thought that wasn't Letterman also but he seemed to display certain mannerisms that were very Dave-like.

That's not Letterman in the beginning and I'm quite sure that's not Paul on the keys either. Still, this is a great clip.

That is Paul Shaffer on organ during the rehearsal. JB even comments at 1:39 in the video "Hot tonight Paul." Music for adventurous listeners tA Tribal Records "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

The guy behind the desk even says "Ready, Paul?" in the beginning. Sheesh, the things you find out about yourself through stupidity, eh?

that guy at the start looks nothing like Letterman and of course Paul Schaffer was on keyboards as he is in the band and was rehearsing as well...it looks like him too.

Yep!! Anybody remember when Paul Shaffer was on SNL before he joined Letterman? Never trust anything spoken in the presence of an erection.

I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!
